Fat Daddio's Pizza — Restaurant in Florida

Excellent food, large portions, moderately priced. The waitress was polite and helpful enjoyed the Philly steak and cheese and the tiramisu was to die for! Ordered delivery from here tonight July 6, 2019. This restaurant used to be very good, this is the second time i have had an issue. The first time concerned the fact that i questioned if i had handed the server a hundred dollar bill instead of a ten. There were only two places i went and the other place shut down their register and counted it in front of me. I let the issue go as i could not prove it. However the young boy managing the store was rude telling me I was making a big deal and a hundred wasn't even very much money. However the owner is a very nice man and I spoke to him and let it go at that. However tonight I ordered a steak and cheese sub with French frys The bill was 14.00 and change. I carefully counted out the money and the delivery man was very polite. I proceeded to take the food in and opened the box. The food inside was a wet mess! The French frys were actually wet and soggy. The sandwich bread was so wet that when I picked it up the whole bottom fell off in a mushy pile! I was very angry tried to take bread and make a sandwich out of the steak and cheese. It was then that my room mate informed me that the young boy manager was up there as well as the server that had been in question before. The owner he told me had gone home earlier. All I can say is wow....seems like they have really gone downhill! They are usually a 5 but that was for delivery....decided to pick up an online order because we had to go to Walgreens. Had to wait on the order and owner? was cussing up a storm because of how busy they were and he was ready to shut down and walk out! We always have a pretty big order and he was complaining about that as well. Got the order finally and went home. 2 of the sandwiches appeared incorrect so went back. When I ordered I clicked a repeat but somehow it did not communicate properly or something. I won't fault them for that but I will fault them for being over All rude and the owner? stating "I don't mean to be a d**k but...." I have worked in customer service my entire adult life and have never had poorer service. I hate to be "that person" because I'm usually not but just wow. He turned around and grabbed a handful of onions, mushrooms, and peppers with NO GLOVES! Did not even offer to remake the sandwiches...plopped the condiments on top and called it a day! In fact none of the people working with food wore gloves! Went home and the sandwich was cold greasy and nasty. Used to really think highly of this place so very disappointed to say the least. Not sure I will ever order...

Best pizza around!! I am a level 5 contributer and take my job with google maps seriously. I met the owner, checked out ingredients used, spoke with owner of Daddios, and spoke with employees from both Ricos and Big Daddios to find out reason for sale and purchase of pizzeria. One of Ricos best and friendliest workers actually stayed with the sale! I never go into a review blind and just rate it. Daddios dedication to quality, great, fast, and casual food is equal, if not better than Ricos. Bottom line people...... dont recieve the one star reviews by these novice, non understanding wantabees. These people are just use to the Ricos staff and are butt hurt over any change to their routine. They havent done their homework and quite frankly have no business doing reviews. I did my homework and found nothing but equal or better ethics, ingredients, food items and customer service. I welcome Big Daddios and Ricos business decision to sell one location and give more love and time to their other stores and bring in a overqualified pizza veteran and owner to purchase this location and be successful. Those are some big shoes to fill!!! Ricos is a staple in Sarasota and Big Daddios is next in line. Great...
