First Watch — Restaurant in Florida

My husband and I went to First Watch for breakfast yesterday morning. We love breakfast there, but not anymore. We got seated pretty quick which was good, then it was all down hill. My husband ordered eggs and a waffle…which were fine . The so called million dollar bacon looked flat, greasy and microwaved. My meal was a total disaster. I always order the B,L,T Eggs Benedict; but for some reason the Eggs Benedict with Barbacoa was calling my name. First time it came out with both egg yolks broken and running everywhere even into the greens. I told our waitress that was unacceptable…and with an extremely rude attitude and the comment she didn’t see anything wrong with it, She took it back to the kitchen reluctantly. When it came back the second time…which my husband was almost finished, the kitchen had thrown 2 eggs on top of the barbacoa that looked like white scrambled eggs. Waitress comment was is this better ? No it wasn’t but I’d had enough of her attitude and the incompetence of the kitchen. So I ate a few bites and we left. Usually if there is a food issue at least someone goes to bat for you. Well not her… I would post her name if I remembered it. Being past business owners… you’re customers are the most important thing you have. Never would we let a customer leave our establishment unhappy or angry. And especially with an attitude that we did something wrong. We will never go back to that McGreager location again, and will be sure to let others know, how horrible it is. I have been a loyal customer of First Watch since they opened. Our staff has ordered lunch for years from your restaurant but today was nothing but a disaster. Your staff was extremely rude especially the girl with the blond pony tail. We ordered our food which was a large order at 11:00 One of our employees went to get it at 12:30 and it wasn't ready but the rudeness was intense. The comment was you should have ordered earlier. One and half hours is not enough time. Not one person came to check on them or ask if they needed help while we were sitting in the waiting area. The potatoes in both orders were under cooked, no syrup with the french toast. I tried to call to speak with a manger and the phone rang and went to a busy tone after several rings. This happened from 1:15 to 2:00 today. We have dealt with some of your rude employees over the years that are in the front and we have chalked it up to stress. This time it was over the top. We will not be returning since we have many other choices in the area that would appreciate our business. We also called corporate since we tried to first call your manager. The girl also kept saying, you need order early on the weekends. Should we have ordered the day before! That is a ridiculous statement. She could care less. Treat your customers with a little...

I am disappointed and don't understand why this happened. I placed a take-out order today July 30th, 2023 for pick-up at 2:00pm. I requested soft/limp bacon & specifically stated NOT CRISPY and I received VERY CRISP bacon, a side order. If they couldn't make my bacon the way I ordered it, I should have been notified & taken off my bill!!! I ❤️ this restaurant and NEVER had an issue when eating in the restaurant. Also, my roast beef sandwich had an off taste to it!! Though maybe this sandwich is always this way as it's my first time trying it!! The also had to switch the bread, though no problem I just don't understand why their was NO COMMUNICATION before packing it up and giving it to me, for me to find when I opened them up at home. The person I received my order from was super nice and willing to put my sandwich on different bread, but they were in the process of closing and the bread chosen was fine. The bacon being on both the club and beef sandwich along with a separate side being the EXACT OPPOSITE of how I ordered it, made me question if the even read the special instructions at all. And or simply lazy because they wanted to go home. Even though it was 2pm and they close at 2:30pm. I won't be ordering take-out from this restaurant in the future and that is sad to me!!!...
