Let's be quite frank here and say you get what you pay for.
To start off with the chocolate, this is not your regular gas station chocolate, these are gourmet, top of the line, fine chocolate made locally so expect to pay accordingly.
The new store on McGregor is absolutely stunning, you can tell they really worked on the details for this one, from the chandeliers to the decor, everything flows.
Norman Love has the best chocolate in town, my favorite are the strawberry, cookies and cream and passion fruit and they also make a great gift as they come in a beautifully designed gift box. I had a boss who used to purchase them at the end of the year as a Christmas gift to her clients and they loved it.
There's also cookies, muffins, macaroons and tons of other treats just as delicious as the chocolate but Norman Love is also famous for their gelato which is creamy and full of flavor and they have quite an extensive variety of it.
The only thing that I am not too fond of at Norman Love is the coffee but then again I am pretty picky about how I like my coffee and rarely like how others rather than myself and starbucks make it lol
Lastly, if you have intentions of making purchases during Valentine's day, Easter and Christmas, I would highly consider ordering ahead because it gets very busy around...
Read moreI'm super upset that I moved to Miami shortly after this location opened. It was great being only 5 minutes away from Norman Love for a few weeks! This new location is absolutely stunning and in such a convenient location.
Whether you're looking for a nice lunch, a sweet snack or a present for your loved one, Norman Love has grown his offerings to tend to all of the SW Floridians. I've tried everything from the gelato to the cakes that look so beautiful you're afraid to cut into them and ruin them. You will never be disappointed with the taste and quality of the items you purchase at Norman Love. If you are...theres probably something wrong with you.
Hands down my favorite thing about Norman Love are the classes that they offer in the off-season. The chocolate and wine pairing class is phenomenal. The fact that Norman himself teaches the class definitely adds to the "wow" factor. Out of the three classes I've taken there, that is hands down my favorite.
So I'm a huge fan of companies that give back to their local communities...and Norman Love is the perfect example of that. If you look into some of the stuff he does in the SWFL area it'll make you want to visit the store and spend even more than you are now! I always feel great supporting companies that support our...
Read moreI have loved taking guests to the store on McGregor and really enjoyed treating them to coffee/tea and a pastry. The last two times, though, have been disappointing. One of the things that made that store special was the service. I loved the way it was served which was elegant, complete with little cream pitchers and napkins and a container of sweetners. Trip #1 (of those mentioned above) I ordered an egg/bacon croissant. There was so little of the alleged eg/bacon filling, I could not taste any of it. The last time (3 days ago) our coffee and tea were delivered to our table with paper cup creamers and no napkins or spoons. We had waited quite awhile bc of the 2 gals working needing to make several fussy coffee drinks and several people waiting to buy candy. I would have waited another minute to be served napkins and spoons. Overall the quality is great, but if you can’t actually fill a croissant with enough filling to taste… maybe just sell it plain, and perhaps they need an extra person eho just makes the special coffees. I hope they keep emphasizing service. It was much of what...
