Five Guys — Restaurant in Florida

This five guys just opened really close to the house, and my partner and I were both excited for the opening. Unfortunately I wish I could say the excitement lasted, but I can’t.

From the start we were received with an employee who welcome us to “subway”, that was weird but nothing major. Afterwards we were charged for a grilled cheese sandwich , when we just asked for extra cheese. To wrap things up, I received my burger with none of the topping I asked for, just a plain burger.

I heard one of the employees on my first visit ask one of the other employees if he should short my fries. The other employee responded that I tipped well but it was his choice. It seems the place is run by very young adults and they dont care about the customers. I've only been in there a few times but it seems to be the case every time in some form or another. From what I hear or interact with it is always an uncomfortable environment to be in. I ate here smack in the middle of lunch time. Not one customer other than me. The whole time I ate here no one came in. The food is not bad. The employess are nice. However, the prices are insane. I had a cheeseburger, small fries, small soda. Order came out to $22.00. Thats a crazy price. If I were to bring my wife and 2 kids I would be paying around 100 dollars for burgers and fries.
