Out of five: *Three Stars for the Over all Rating.- Awesome concept. Would love to become a regular. First impression. Well there is already room for improvement. **Two Stars for Service- Since that’s how many employees it took to describe a wine. ** Four Stars for Atmosphere- Wish there where more cozy seating. & Wish I was able to at least sit in which ever bar stool I felt comfortable in.
Former New Yorker, who is used to the North Fork of Long Island with all of their local . High end wineries. I was really hoping to find a nice spot to sit and sip on some nicely crafted wine. Learn about the wine etc. Hoping you maybe chat with some one who knows about the wine that they are serving. Just not tonight I guess. Anyways, I digress. The gentleman that tried to serve me. Ignored my question about the wine the first time around. & just gave me a sample. Lol I mean. I didn’t ask for a sample. If offered. I would have loved to pay for a flight ! I wanted to know more about the wine. Have a kind of “classy” conversation about the wine. Learn more about it and then order a glass and or a bottle of the wine! Maybe it was their first day… but my thought is.. if it’s your first day… get off your phone. Stop chatting with your fellow bartender who is trying to keep your tips coming. Maybe learn a little about what your serving?
If anything let us learn from me being a...
Read moreSave your money and more importantly save your time. After a long day at work, my coworker and I chose to try this place advertised in Florida weekly for happy hour. That is where it started along the path of disappointment: no wine only happy hour specials. Our server was without much of a personality and couldn't answer a simple question about a wine, offering a taste only if the bottle was open with an awful facial expression and attitude with it. The wine we each chose was ok, they weren't any more special but the prices are high for 'meh' quality. The owner walked around chatted it up with other guests she appeared to know and treated us dismissively didn't try to engage with us, we felt judged for as she gave off a ridiculous fake pretentious personality. The atmosphere, well for the prices they want to charge, you would expect the window sills inside to be clean free from dust and dead small gnat-like small insects body.dead bugs, sure its Florida and felt that should be a daily wipe down before you open since you only open at 4pm. The wall near us had missing paint and white spackle marks, so sure that can happen but again it's attention to details that are overlooked for a place trying to come off as more than average with less than average service & mediocre wine for...
Read moreMy husband and I went on opening night and have been able to make it to Fort Myers for dinner one time since. Both times were an amazing experience. The food is so so good that I would go back just for that. The tiramisu is one of my favorite desserts I have ever put in my mouth lol. The "Pinsa" (their take of a pizza/flatbread) are delicious, my favorite is the Porchetta & Truffle but the Tomato Confit is also good if you want something lighter. I am not a seafood person but the charcuterie and bruschetta boards are also a must order especially if you have a group. Favorite salad is the Gorgonzola & Guanciale. Aside from the food it is such a cute/fun atmosphere to hang out in and they have wines I have not seen anywhere else. We ordered a bottle of Amarone on our first visit which I also highly recommend. Service was great both times even being a new place. Go check them out and have some amazing food and...
