My family and I heard went there dinner and a small concert they were having. We were met with a $75 cover per person that supposedly gave you access to a VIP table. We thought it was much since it didn’t really include anything but a seat. We decided to go in and give it a chance. Then the host bring us to a 4person table with EIGHT chairs around it. They said we had to share tables with another couple. Which is ridiculous. The couple was very nice and accommodating so we decided to stay. We’re super tight at this point and the manager has the nerve to come up to our table to yell at us that we needed to squeeze more because our table is meant for 8 ppl and we were on the servers way. Mind you, we literally could not move any closer. Every table around us started complaining about the same thing. They had a DJ that played good music, but dancing music. Do you think we were able to dance?? Absolutely not. There was 0 room.
At this point we kinda gave up and just decided to have fun in our seats and make the best out of the situation.
Now, $75 was to basically have a seat to see “Los Diablitos del Vallenato”. Normally, artists would start singing at around 11pm the latest. But these people didn’t start singing until 1:45am. There were people that paid for their tickets in advance and were there at 6pm like the ticket said. They weren’t even able to enter the premises until 8pm. Food was mediocre, drinks were mediocre and overpriced. But the worst out of everything was when the artists finally decided to come out and sing. I could tell you at least 30 ppl walked out with my group. It was not the artists fault. But the sound was horrible. No one could hear the singers, only ringing on the speaker and no one was doing anything about it. People are shouting to stop the music. It was literally hurting my ears. But no one did anything about it. We decided to leave along with a huge group of people that were extremely upset.
I would definitely never come back to this place. For the owner and management is definitely more important selling as many covers as possible. They don’t care if people have to squeeze like sardines. They don’t care if people aren’t enjoying themselves. It’s all about the money for them.
Think twice before you go to one of their events. It’s gonna be...
Read moreThis is my second time coming here and I am never going back. We went for the final game of the Copa America. I was advised on parking and we got there at 2:30pm. Luckily there was one available parking. The parking is extremely limited. Why would you open a disco with approximately 10 parking spots to the public, there’s probably less. Anyways, since we were there early we wanted to grab some lunch. Since we went on the final, they were charging a entrance fee of $15 per person. We purchased tickets and the lady told us we can sit wherever we like. We went for the more comfortable option and went to the booth. Around 45 minutes in, a server manager comes up to us. He asks us who gave us permission on sitting in the booth. We explain how the lady told us how we could choose. He responds with, “ Since today is the final, the booths start at $250 table consumption. Tables start at 30$ per person of consumption.“ I tell him that the lady in front has to tell consumers before selling the ticket because the tickets are nonrefundable. From here I knew the night had been set on a wrong note. We decided to move to a table and then a server came. Honestly the server disappeared almost all night. The patacones were okay. The Salchipapa was no good. They also sell bingo which should be a complimentary game for how much money they are charging the consumer. The music was way too loud to the point where I couldn’t even think. The big screen was low quality and had poor connection. They even missed part of the half time show. When the second half began, the server brought us our check. Not even 5 minutes had passed and the server came back asking for the check. I almost passed out. If you pay in cash it’s “cheaper”. Card users have to pay an extra fee more or less 7$. I don’t know if it’s flat or based on the amount, which shouldn’t really be a factor. I wanted to see how it was online. I scan the QR code and to my surprise, they have the option for a tip set at 7% additionally. Also be aware. At the bottom of the receipt, there’s a fine print that says 20% of tip is already included. If you don’t realize this you will end up giving around 30% in tip. Do you really think it’s worth it? I do not especially after charging entrance fee and 20% tip included and poor service....
Read moreBeautiful and festive atmosphere! They really put a lot of work into it and that must be greatly appreciated. Service was good we went on a weekday afternoon and there was only two tables. The food was not the best Colombian food I had to be honest. The beans had way too much cumin and the rice was very hard, the Maduro was raw inside but the chicharrón was delicious and fresh. The Sancocho tasted old since the plantains were very dark and the corn was already soggy so those are indicators. I want to make this as a constructive feedback because the place is beautiful and I think you guys have a lot of room for improvement. The margarita I ordered which was the house mango margarita was $16 which I found extremely overpriced for the quality! Instead of using real mango pulp all I could taste was the cheap mango mix and not enough alcohol for that price and quality nobody will get a second round! Also no garnish was put on my margarita so I didn’t feel like taking a picture of it. Last but no least I found very sketchy that there is NO PRICE on the menu for desserts, drinks, nor sides! So I was shocked at the end with the drink price! The 20% gratuity was already included on the bill for two people which I have no problem with since I even gave her extra; I just find very sketchy that the never tell you the gratuity is already included and at the end the receipt you are supposed to sign ask for tips again. Customers are right to think it’s a scam! Hope you guys take the feedbacks because this place deserves to be supported just for the amount of work and passion you put on it. I’ll give it another try hoping you guys fix this issue that I read in so many...
