We went today at around 10:30am to POPEYES #12485 located on 3397 S. Orange Blossom Trail. We walked in and had to wait about 7 minutes before anyone would come to get our order. A lady, which was not too happy to work there, immediately told us that she had not open the register yet and told us to go to the electronic ordering machine….We were already a bit upset about EVERYONE’S attitude and were questioning whether going to KFC, which is not too far from where we were, but finally decided to go ahead and order there. Needless to say, that this place is ALWAYS understaffed and the ones that are there really do not care much about the ones who contribute to their paychecks, WE THE CUSTOMERS. This is the LAST time we are going to go there. We will buy from KFC which has very nice people working for them and because the other POPEYES is too far from our location! AND….just to top it all, the electronic order machine, didn’t print a receipt, I asked the lady for the receipt, and she gave me a “blurred” receipt from a bad printer. We went home, not to happy and guess what! The mashed potatoes were plain, NO GRAVY ON THEM causing us to throw it away…what a waste of our time and money! This is all caused by POOR MANAGEMENT of a location employees and a very poor planning on the available workforce! Employees should be cordial, smiley and HELPFUL to customers…We want to eat and enjoy the (EXPENSIVE) fast food we buy! But yeah, it will not be at...
Read moreThis is one of the worst Popeyes locations I’ve ever been to. The staff are incompetent and rude. First I had to order the one item I wanted 3 times, I even ordered using the number to make it as easy as possible and they still couldn’t get it right the first time. Then I get behind a car who received their order but were just sitting there, talking to the person at the drive thru window. Assuming they were waiting on something they ordered I patiently waited for minutes for them to just drive off after their conversation was apparently finished, strike two. Then I get my order, check the bag and there’s no straw, no big deal right? Wrong. Instead of just giving me a straw they insist there’s one in the bag. I then pull out my chicken sandwich, check again and there is indeed, no straw in the bag. After telling them a third time I need a straw they still insist, with an attitude, there is a straw in the bag. I don’t know why they felt the need to put me through all of this hassle after being so patient over a straw that probably costs a few cents but I’ll never return to this location. I had missing items, which is very common at this establishment, and I proceeded to explain to them my missing items and provided them with a receipt. What I did not know, but found out later,that I handed them the wrong receipt. The employee then, decides to turn around and make fun of my mistake(the window door was open, so I heard everything). When she comes back, she tells me it's the wrong proof of purchase, so I begin looking for the other receipt. She then begins to insinuate that I was trying to steal mash potatoes, so, I politely went through all my items to show them.
What was frustrating was not only could they have pulled up my order (I had just went through the drive -thru), but the manger was right there and allowed her employee to mock me and speak to me in a demeaning tone.
