I had heard the best things about San Julian but I had my doubts that it was worth the hype! They have two locations in the same plaza: one is mainly just for tacos, quesadillas, and appetizers and the other is for their combination dinners and specialty plates, including the Quesabirria tacos. They also sell meat at the second location. We popped into this spot as we were dying to try their Quesabirria tacos. OH MY GOSH. Up until this point, I don't think I've truly lived until I had that first bite. The tenderness of the meat, the melted cheese, hot, fresh, juicy, a hint of lime, the spices, the cilantro, the onion... chef's kiss. I'm making an excuse to come here anytime we are in the area. You have to make this place a priority if you haven't been! We also got a torta with pork and it was to die for!!

No-frills spot gets 4.4 ⭐️ Nothing fancy about this place. You want no-nonense good Mexican food that you can enjoy and don't mind the foot traffic of customers coming in to get their meat cuts or groceries, then you'll be just fine. I had the Quesobirria which was probably one of the best I've had. The meat was flavorful and didn't have alot of fat. The tortilla had the right amount of birria sauce and wasn't oily. The chicharrones were good and not oily either. The breaded chicken breast was well seasoned and juicy. Rice, frijoles had great texture with great taste. I don't eat pre-packaged store tortillas so I appreciate they have freshly made tortillas. While I'm not a huge fan of tortillerias (they tend to thin out the masa and end up dry), this one was enjoyable. Nos veremos pronto. Gracias!

Best Mexican food I've ever had! Was recommended to us by a car salesman we were working with. So we stopped in while test driving the car. The parking lot was mostly full at lunch time and is somewhat tight for larger vehicles, but totally manageable. We were in a big dually pickup. Two round tables outside were full and inside was packed. A good sign as far as I'm concerned. All the employees were hustling and bustling and we didn't wait long for our food considering how busy it was. Seems like family run "mom and pop" place, which I love. Food is amazing! Flavorful, good ingredients and fair price for what you're getting. I'm white as white bread but this seems like the real deal if you're looking for good Hispanic food.

It is truly a shame that a restaurant with great food has such terrible customer service. It is now the second time in a row which has made me decide it will be my last time coming back. There are way too many good local spots with similar or even better tasting food such as “La Poblanita”, “The Latin Grill” “Cactus truck” and better customer service. First I go on lunch break and pick up an order for my boss who frequents there alot. We decide to order tacos for the whole workplace spend over 100 dollars, We ask to pay over the phone the request is denied (pretty odd especially since any restaurant usally request big orders be paid in advance) then I show up get told I cant use my boss’ card to pay because she isnt in I offer to call her they say no. The lady in the front starts giving me an attitude about how it has to be my name on the card. I tell her i understand and just pay with my card. I recieve the card slip and leave 0 tip when I normally leave 30-40% in previous visits. obviously since now I am unhappy. Once i signed she noticed I left 0 tip and snatches the reciept from me. This was about 2 weeks ago. Fast forward to today I decide to give them another chance because my sister loves tacos and honestly the food is great. It seems the lady was still mad at me or holding a grudge because we walk to the counter and stand there for almost 5 minutes while she ignores us, makes eye contact then looks back down on her phone. Another server takes my order, and we go outside to wait. Once my number is called i grab my bag and give them their number back she snatches the number out my hand and walks away angrily. I ordered 8 tacos this time and recieved 2 salsas which normally even on smaller orders we recieve more than 2 containers. My guess is this is a family owned place with no repercussions for the very rude front server ladies because upon reading reviews I see im not the only one with the same experience. The food is very good but not worth going back with such terrible...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this small taco spot in a every single time I go I'm blown away by the food. The restaurant itself is tiny, with only a few small tables and a counter where you can watch the tacos being made. But don't let the unassuming exterior fool you - the food here is absolutely amazing.

I ordered the tacos al pastor and the longaniza tacos, and they were both out of this world. The al pastor was perfectly cooked, with juicy chunks of marinated pork and a crispy exterior. The longaniza was equally delicious, with a spicy and flavorful sausage. The tortillas were soft and warm, and the toppings were all fresh and flavorful.

The best part about this little taco spot, though, is the price. The tacos are incredibly affordable, and the portion sizes are generous. I was able to try both the al pastor and longaniza tacos, and I still didn't break the bank.

In conclusion, if you're in the mood for some truly delicious tacos at an unbeatable price, look no further than this Taco Heaven. It may not be the fanciest restaurant around, but it definitely...

This is my go-to taco place. I'm originally from Southern California, so good Mexican food was plentiful. After moving to Florida, I found that wasn't the case here. San Julian is one of those "simple is best" kind of taquerias. They're typically so busy that everything is made fresh, and they usually do a good job of getting the food out quickly. My personal favorite is the Pastor tacos. Really flavorful, especially when they get a little bit of char on there. You get a good amount of meat relative to the tortillas, which are corn, and made thin so you're not just getting a mouthful of dry tortilla in every bite. The steak (bistec) tacos are also really good. The quesadillas are amazing, but can be a little greasy, so I don't get them all the time. But their flavor is awesome. These guys are pretty busy most of the time, and lines can literally be out the door, so be prepared for that. They're also open until 10pm if you need something quick, easy, and good later in the evening like I often do. Definitely don't sleep on this place. It'll become your new...
