I come to this Ihop all the time. After they reopened it was a bad experience. From one of the doors having a string in the inside, no sign was available to let you know don't use that door. We waited a while before anyone acknowledge us and then waited to be seated but restaurant was pretty empty. The quality and quantity of food went down a lot. I used to prefer Ihop over Denny's. After going to Denny's a few times I prefer them now over Ihop. My bacon omelette was very small compared to before. They did not bring the hashbrowns with the omelette about 7 minutes later that's when they brought them and as soon as I saw the flat, thin, small hashbrown looking thing I said what is this? The server walked away embarrassed and didn't say anything. I was upset at the fact that they wouldn't give us an extra menu to look at then they went cheap on the omelette then they went cheap on the hash brown and then they went cheap on my iced coffee that tasted just like milk and chocolate. It was not really the servers fault she was definitely embarrassed and when she saw me that I did not continue eating and I said this is not a quality meal she offered to speak with a manager. The manager never came out to speak to me but took off the charge for the meals ask their pancakes were also very sad. They are supposed to be known for International House of Pancakes that's what IHOP stands for. I understand the pandemic has affected businesses but it should not affect quality of food and service. The picture I took of the hash browns look bigger than what it really was. At the end I gave $15 tip because at the end of the day it wasn't really the servers fault. So until they straighten their act up I will not...
Read moreI had the pleasure of dining at IHOP recently, and I was blown away by the exceptional service provided by our server, Jean. From the moment we were seated, Jean was attentive, friendly, and genuinely interested in ensuring we had the best dining experience possible.
What set Jean apart was not just the promptness with which our orders were taken and delivered but the extra steps she took to make our meal special. She noticed that we were celebrating a birthday and surprised us with a small dessert, on the house, complete with a candle and a cheerful birthday song. Jean's knowledge of the menu was impressive; she made excellent recommendations that suited our tastes perfectly, and her attention to detail was impeccable.
Moreover, Jean's ability to manage her time efficiently, despite the busy hour, ensured that all her tables received the attention they needed without making anyone feel neglected. She checked on us periodically to see if we needed anything, all with a warm and welcoming smile that made us feel at home.
In a time when good service is often hard to come by, Jean truly went above and beyond to make our dining experience memorable. Her professionalism, coupled with a genuinely kind and accommodating nature, made our meal not just delicious, but truly delightful.
Thank you, Jean, for your outstanding service. It's employees like you who set IHOP apart and keep customers coming back. I look forward to my next visit, hopeful for the chance to have Jean as our...
Read moreUsually this location is not like this. Depending on the staff I’m assuming. 3 of us arrived around 2 am Monday night/Tuesday morning. The server greeted us with waters. Which ironically enough we wanted water. I ordered tea. Then went straight for the breakfast sampler. As I checked silverware they were not shined or cleaned properly. We got Togo cutlery to eat with. The rim of our water cups all had finger marks on them. Food finally came out and there was no one but us in the building. Food all came out Luke warm. Pancakes tasted pre-made as if they did not make to order but instead sand bag. They drenched my strawberry banana pancakes with so much strawberry pure it was inedible. Witnessed the server drop a white Togo bag on the floor and picked it back up and used it for a Togo pick up order. Bathrooms were not kept up with. Didn’t want to touch any surface area not even the door handle. If I had gone to the restrooms first I would have left and gone to Dennys across the street. Server not attentive. Idk her name but a black older woman nice attitude but working with no care in the world. Please develop good habits with your staff like a checklist for restrooms and even go through food safety with them, or maybe how to clean and polish the glass cups you serve to guests and silverware. Not a place I will be returning to....
