Not appealing, not clean. Will return to my usual properties in the immediate area & will not be recommending for corporate stays within my company.
Good proximity to Disney Springs & I4. That’s about it.
Maurice (front desk) & Luam (breakfast attendant) were the standouts. Maurice was helpful by phone before my arrival & during my stay. Luam immediately noticed that I might need a little help with breakfast & without hesitation jumped in to help.
First floor seemed to be the only renovation, maybe the pool area, which looked nice from my window.
Attendant at Coffee bar never looked up either time I visited to see if there was a guest standing 2 feet from her.
Forgot his name, but the young guy at the bar was very nice & helpful with dinner options.
1st floor elevator area smelled like diapers & sewage backup both days. Not an enticing place to wait for the elevator to return. Inside elevator was hot & uncomfortable.
Parking spaces were plentiful, but far from the entrance & very narrow.
The room I was in clearly had not been renovated. Old wooden furniture that was scratched, cracked, coming apart, stained. Fabric chair was stained. Both beds had stained sheets & bed skirts, which weren’t fully tucked in. Headboard pleather was peeling off. The bed by the wall smelled, so moved to the other one. Neither were comfortable.
Dust on a lot of the fixtures. Phone was filthy. Remote not so clean.
Room / hallway colors very dark, dated, unappealing.
Fridge never got cold & temp dial wouldn’t move. A/C ran every few minutes or so with the same temp. Never regulated to the temp setting on the wall.
TV selections very limited.
Bathroom was very tiny. Toilet was so low to the ground it seemed like a kindergarten height. Floors were stained by the tub & wall, but the worst thing was the wet toilet paper. The roll was folded into corners & (I was told by the front desk) sealed with the sink faucet tap, which is in itself gross & non-hygenic. The round water spot (size of tap opening) had soaked through every layer of the roll. I put it back on the housekeeping cart outside & used the unopened roll. Who wants to use wet toilet paper?!
Carpet was badly stained in room & hallway.
Never used the shower or bath on my 1 night stay because it just didn’t appear clean, so I waited til I returned home the next day.
Happy they had a Bible in the drawer. Many hotels no longer do this, which is unfortunate.
Room coffee machine was nowhere near an outlet, but inside a hole in the dresser. The coffee wasn’t good anyway & not enough creamers, so went to Starbucks & Wawa a few blocks away (since the lady at the 1st floor coffee shop never noticed me twice .)
Overall except for the few very nice people above, I would not stay here again. This was another hotel in years past, but it is seemingly marketed as a new (build) hotel, which it is not. Website photos are very inaccurate, so may just be stock Marriott photos & not of this location for...

Read moreI was pleasantly surprised with my stay at the Delta Orlando resort. I had a last minute change of plans and needed a hotel for 2 nights. I was satisfied with the rate at this hotel and took a chance staying here as I hadn't even heard of it before. I loved how everyone at the hotel, even when I called to ask a few questions, was nice, courteous, and seemed genuinely concerned about my stay. The bell man was great and greeted us with a smile and escorted us to the front desk. Check in went so smoothly and was quick. I was happy our room was ready when we checked in.
I loved the modern feel of the lobby. The lobby was able to appear wide open, however, there were lots of great conversation areas tucked away. The bar was nice and lively in the evening, the cafe was great for grabbing snacks, and the Community Table served a great buffet breakfast. I LOVED that The Community Table ACTUALLY had a community table like the european pubs do. I was a little surprised that no one was sitting at it, and that when greeted the concept of the Community Table wasn't explained. The pool area was nice with 2 amazing cabanas and comfortable lounge chairs.
The room was wonderful as well. Clean, new, fresh. I liked the desk and comfy seating area. The mirrors were great! I appreciated that the fan in the bathroom ACTUALLY worked in keeping moisture/fog down. The beds were comfortable as well and there was good closet space. The only thing I didn't like about the room was the bathroom counter was a little small for toiletries and makeup.
I was a little skeptical that one evening we did hear some light construction work until almost 9pm. I could tell that the hotel was still working on some of the finishing touches in the hallways, and other areas. I will note that it was a little tricky getting into and out of the hotel. If there is anyway to connect to the road behind the property, that would be a huge benefit.
The hotel had a lot of amenities I would find in a higher level property and that I was happily surprised to see here(such as room service and valet parking).
Overall I had a great experience and will be recommending this hotel, and using it...
