Bakery 1908’s new location at 12399 S Apopka-Vineland Rd in Orlando is an absolute treasure trove of culinary delights, offering an astounding assortment of pastries, savory dishes, and drinks that are bound to impress even the most discerning foodie. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with the heavenly aroma of freshly baked treats and a warm, inviting atmosphere that sets the stage for a truly memorable experience.
The pastry selection is nothing short of jaw-dropping. Egg tarts, Japanese cheesecakes, cream-filled buns, and countless other delicacies fill the display cases, each looking more tempting than the last. The cream-filled buns were a revelation—unbelievably soft, pillowy, and generously packed with a rich, velvety Boston cream that melts in your mouth. However, the real star of the show was the egg tart—a perfect blend of sweetness and creaminess, bursting with flavor in every bite. It’s no exaggeration to say this was one of the best egg tarts I’ve ever had.
Beyond the pastries, Bakery 1908 surprises with a menu of savory offerings like soups, dumplings, and more. The 1908 tofu was a standout—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and topped with a flavorful mix of green onions and chili flakes. The accompanying sauce, which seemed like a tangy duck sauce, was utterly delectable and complemented the dish perfectly. Another highlight was the summer dumplings, a vegetable-packed delight we ordered pan-fried. These dumplings were incredible, with a satisfying crunch and vibrant, fresh flavors that made them an instant favorite.
And as if that wasn’t enough, the beverage options at Bakery 1908 are equally impressive. They have an extensive boba tea menu, and I couldn’t resist trying a milk tea with popping boba. It was the perfect balance of creamy and refreshing, with the playful pop of the boba adding a delightful touch to every sip.
Finally, the customer service deserves special mention. The staff were attentive, friendly, and eager to ensure every guest had a wonderful experience. Whether you’re indulging in a pastry, savoring a savory dish, or sipping on boba tea, you’ll feel well taken care of.

Read moreSo this is my second time trying out the bakery and it gets a lot of hype on social media. I really don’t understand why. The second time honestly was more disappointing than the first the first time we came in we had soup dumplings, and some Boba tea. The Boba tea was great. The soup dumpings had lacked any real flavor. We also had had some pastries at that time that really just didn’t hit the spot that I’ve had at other traditional Asian bakeries. I was driving by earlier today and decided to give them another chance. Maybe we came in on an off day I came in. I got bing bang chicken and the slice of cake now the cake inside the cabinet is great. The bang bang chicken was OK I would give it a two out of five stars. The service here was actually probably one of the worst ones. I’ve had in a while. I waited over 30 minutes for my bang, bang chicken and saw everyone else was getting their order sent to them when I gently raised my hand up. The wheat staff finally noticed me and then went to go back and check the kitchen. My order still wasn’t ready. They somehow I had lost it so they came out with a fresh new batch of chicken. The poor guy felt so bad. He ended up giving me someone else’s leftovers that hadn’t shown up yet. I don’t think I’ll really be back to check out the bakery for a while. I hope it gets better, but I think they’re really getting too much hype from the Internet to To find the balance between their staffing and their food flavors. But I would say get a cake from inside the refrigerated cabinet that...
