This restaurant was one of my favorite until just tonight when I ordered my food . I ordered veggie platter which is 3 sides of rice and beans I also ordered empanadas . I currently live in Sanford fl . I ordered online and a pick up . I get home to only rice and beans so I called the restaurant to let them know that there was no empanadas and it was a disaster . they hung up the phone 3 times on me and told me I was lieing that they packed the empanadas in the bag. I did let them know I don't have it and offered to take a picture of what I have to send it to them. they kept assisting they gave me them. I guess they didn't realizes that I can under stand spainsh because I am half pr . the girl I was speaking to was speaking to another girl telling them what was going on and calling me crazy. the customer service in this restaurant was horrible and at this point I just wanted my money back for the food I didn't receive which was pulling teeth. I did offer to come back to the store and I would bring all the food back to show them I didn't get any empanadas . they didn't want to hear it because they said they put everything in the bag . I asked to speak to the restaurant manager because I felt like I was giving the run around and I also felt that the customer service needed coaching . when she got on the phone she could barely speak English so I was trying to tell her from the beginning what happened she told well what would u like me to do . so I told her well at this point I just want my money back from the food I didn't receive. she then said to me she did I asked her when it would show on my account because I have no proof that you did the return she said tomorrow which will be 7/25/18 I told her okay thank you and I will be looking for it. I also told her how unprofessional her staff was and they need to be coach on customer service . she then told me I was lieing they never hung up on me which they have then went on saying how I just want free stuff. at this point I just had enough and just said to her well thank you for the refund and due to the poor customer service that was provided to us we wont be returning thank you and have a great night . she then said to me idc we don't need your service . I then just hung up the phone . so because of how poorly we was treated we wont be returning . I don't think anyone should vist this restaurant although the food is good when they don't rush the customer service is horrible. I never felt so disrespected before . my wife works in the food business so I know what it is to be a server and deal with customers as well as my self in retail customer service. its ortunate that this happen but hoping it will be a great 0review for others . I feel customer service is everything and I don't think they understand with out customers there is no business . I hope others have a better expiranace then I have . it seems like if you don't speak spainsh or if your missing food from what you your lieing and get attacked . I don't recommend this restaurant I feel it does need to be shut down a day and maybe they can take a class on...

PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK YOUR RECEIPT My co-workers and I use to LOVE coming to this place. We haven't been in awhile and were craving some good empanadas. We had bad service from that moment we walked in up until we left. We sat all the way in the back corner of the restaurant and our server was so RUDE and didn't listen to what we actually wanted. I asked for a CRANBERRY juice that is it which included FREE refills. She kept asking if I wanted Mora Agua. My friends and I said in BOTH Spanish and English ( I don't speak Spanish so my friend helped me out so she could understand ) NOOOO we said just REGULAR CRANBERRY juice which was $2.29. I got what I thought was cranberry juice and 1 refill. When receiving my receipt she charged me for Mora Agua which had NO free refills and she charged me for the second one which was $3.19. That was just the first thing that was wrong. On the menu my friend and I both ordered 4 empanadas which was $5.59 on the menu. Once I received my receipt for that they were charging me $7.00 for 4 empanadas! Ridiculous!!! When explaining this to the RUDE server she didn't seem to care and just ignored us snatching my receipt away from me and walking away. We decided to go pay up at the register. We explained to the cashier the price of the empanadas was not the price on the menu. She began to tell they don't have that special anymore for $5.59. We insisted she grab a menu and look. With an attitude she grabbed and menu realizing we were over charged so she adjusted our meals to the CORRECT price. When explaining about my drink she said she would only take one drink off but I had to pay the extra $1.00 I was charged for the first drink. Even though that isn't what we told her I wanted. I told the cashier but I asked for just cranberry juice nothing special. She told me in a RUDE tone. Look I am trying to help you out. Being that I have worked in the food industry, retail, customer service I feel she should have comp my drink totally or discounted the drink to the $2.29 price due to her server not understand from 3 people what I actually wanted! I feel this was VERY HORRIBLE service and I refuse to tip someone who was RUDE from the start, couldn't get the price of a meal, or the drink right. She seemed to busy to deal with us and just seemed to want to gossip. When leaving the cashier walked over to our server telling her that we all didn't tip and gossiping about us. Which we didn't care and won't be coming back. For whoever is running this place you need to change up the staff, the food prices, and the way your servers treat the customers as it is the customers fault they messed up. So to anyone wanting to come here PLEASE BE AWARE OF WHAT THEY ARE CHARGING YOU! If I could I would give this place no stars but that isn't an options...

The first time, I didn't get my beans. Noticed when I got back to the office and called. They said to come back. When I arrived, they gave me a bag, which I took back to the office. Upon opening the bag, there was soup, instead of beans in there. I called once again and they asked me to return again. I finally got my beans, but the server had the nerve to ask me if I brought back the soup!
Second time was today. I ordered through Uber Eats. When I opened the bag, my beans were missing once again. They also didn't send silverware or any of the sauces that normally come with the meal. I called them and they asked me to come get it. I explained that I paid Uber Eats to deliver because I can't get out of the office. They said they were going to call me back after speaking to a manager. When I called them back 10 minutes later because I never received a call, they apologized and said they didn't know what to tell me. I said they needed to deliver my food and they told me they would send someone in an Uber, because apparently no one in the restaurant has a car, which is impossible. An hour later, I'm still waiting!
To top everything off, the response from the owner is nothing but lies! The lady on the phone told me that the girl that packed the bag had failed to pack the beans and the silverware. I did ask about salad because they used to include it, but I never expected to get anything for free. On top of that, Uber Eats never told me anything, and you didn't even bother to get on the phone with me and lied, telling me someone would come to bring me what was missing! At this rate, I certainly hope you get what you deserve and go out...
