This place did NOT deliver at all in customer service or food to be honest. Our party of 3 came in at 5:20 p.m. and order garlic nots (6), (1)rice ball, (2) glasses of water and a Pepsi for appetizers, which came out fast. For dinner we order 3 specialty calzones, and we waited and waited and waited. The waitress came to us at least 4 times to tell us that they where coming right out, at 6:45 p.m. I told the waitress that we wanted the check for what we have consumed. She called the manager which he told us he had an order of 40 pies to do before our order, when I asked why we were not told that when we put the order he blamed the waitress saying that he told her it was going to be around 30 minutes. She never told us anything about the waiting time when we order which it didn't matter because it was way past 30 minutes. He called her to our table to embarrass her in front of us telling her didn't you told them how long it was going to take?, she was embarrassed and said I don't remember telling them. We were seated next to the kitchen in a very small establishment and he never told her anything about the time. When he came to our table he was mad because the order was specialty food and NOW it was ready after we ask for the check to what I said we don't want the food anymore. He never offer anything not even a dessert. If they would have informed me in advanced I could have gone and done some shopping for my dogs food and return around the time the food was supposed to be done, but he did NOT care about his customers time why should I care about the specialty order he didn't care to made on time. He should care about all customers instead of trying to sell cheap wine to everyone that walks through the door. I would never go back and would NEVER recommend this...

Our server was new and I think it was her first serving job. She did pretty well. Restaurant was clean and bright.
We ordered an Italian egg roll, Philly egg roll and a side of meatballs to start. The egg rolls came to the table and they were cold. We sent them back to be warmed up. Interestingly enough, it was the same ones that we bit into that they brought back. The meatballs were a good size but flavorless. I actually had to put salt and pepper on them. The sauce came out hot but the meatballs were just warm. The meatballs had good consistency but were a no-go.
I ordered a Italian panini. The bread was very good, the meat and cheeses were good. I do wish there had been a little of Italian dressing on it but overall, a good sandwich.
The Roman Pizza was thick and filled with toppings. The toppings all got good reviews. The comment at the table was that the pizza oven must have been bought used because the pizza had some hot spots and some cold spots. Temperature just was not consistent through the pie. The crust was just okay. Overall review of the pizza was this did not reach the level of our go-to's .
A couple walked in as we were finishing up and no one greeted them, they waited there a few minutes and they walked out.
They may want to consider moving the case that seems to be blocking the kitchen area, put a bell on the door and get a sign that says seat yourself. They're definitely going to lose people by not saying hello or giving people guidance when they walk in.
I wish them the best of luck but it definitely will not be our...
Read moreLegit NY pizza!!! FINALLY!!! In Lake Mary! My husband is from NY and would eat pizza every single day if he could. Now I'm sure he will!!! My boss, his wife and another friend told us about this place last week. My husband got a slice while waiting for his large cheese pizza and my eggplant stack which was AMAZING as well. I had a small piece of pizza and actually ate the crust which I never do because it was so light and fluffy. They must have their flour and water shipped in. Seriously! The pizza snaps when you fold it like a true New Yorker. The owner Frank is from Queens and he came out and talked to my husband and had him try a piece of the mozzarella with no sauce. He said it melted in his mouth! Frank's son makes the pizzas. He said both were very nice and attentive. Please go and support this family owner place so that it never goes away. You won't regret it! Thanks Esca's for making my husband so happy. He was always settling for OK or "close" to NY pizza. Anyone that writes a bad review is out of their minds and must not know what REAL Italian food tastes...
