The food is amazing, but the help is ridiculous. The first two times I tried to go, the cashier boy told us that they weren't serving customers even though it was still thirty minutes earlier than their closing time. He was happily sitting at one of the tables. They should just change their closing time if they don't want customers.
The third time, there were two other tables, the chefs were totally idle (so, not busy either perceived or in reality), and I had to go and ask for service after ten minutes since the waitress had brought us waters and then disappeared. The cashier boy, who was sitting at a table (yet again), then came to take our orders. He then wrote our orders down wrong (which I caught when I heard them call it out in the kitchen), somehow still delivered one of our meals correctly even though they continued to not really understand what the correct orders were, eventually got the second order fixed, and then insisted they discount both of our plates because I just couldn't convince them that one of them was exactly what I wanted.
The waitress had made continuous, disparaging remarks about the boy who took our order, which wasn't very professional, especially considering that a) he was the only one around, and b) she was misunderstanding everything too.
It's beyond me how they've been open...
Read moreMy visit to Café Restaurant JoJo’s Cafe was an unforgettable culinary experience. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by the warm and charming atmosphere, creating an ideal environment for a relaxed breakfast or a gathering with friends. The highlight of my visit was the Eggs Benedict. I've tried many in different places, but the ones at JoJo’s Cafe are simply unmatched. The homemade biscuits were soft and fluffy, with a flavor that can only be achieved with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The eggs were perfectly cooked, with a golden, creamy yolk that flowed with the first cut. The Hollandaise sauce, light and flavorful, topped the dish with mastery. The staff also deserves special mention. From the first greeting, the employees were attentive and friendly, always with a smile and ready to make recommendations or adjust any detail to ensure a perfect experience. Their professionalism and warmth made the visit even more enjoyable. Especially Tania. In summary, JoJos’s Cafe is a place I recommend without hesitation. Their delicious food, especially the Eggs Benedict with homemade biscuits, along with exceptional service and a charming atmosphere, make it a must-visit for...
Read moreI didn’t get to eat there when we arrived. We sat ourselves and waiting to get served for about 15 min and there was only ONE server for the entire establishment and it was a full place! The chef’s apparently were new and had no idea what they were doing and milling around doing nothing. There was one staff member that admitted he didn’t know anything about the menu but was at least trying to help get drinks. Needless to say the server was overwhelmed and it was very apparent it wasn’t going to be a good place to eat. So we left. A message to the owner make sure your place is well staffed and trained before opening. It’s not fair to have your patrons be in a sub standard situation and it’s not fair to have your staff overworked with no support. I sadly will not be returning as this turned me off. Too bad I wanted to like it as I support...
