Went to this restaurant the other morning to meet my Mom for breakfast . I was side eyeing it for half a second bc of the location but quickly got over it when i thought of myself ordering Chinese food after putting $10 on pump 5 😥. When I walked in i was amazed....it was so clean and simple...so inviting! Kinda like walking in your granny kitchen if your granny kitchen was like...huge lol. I just felt at home and ready to kick my shoes off and get some bacon!! Lol The service was a refreshing mix of Ruth Chris and the Waffle House!! Mama was sweet as pie but I had a feeling she would turn up after the 3rd time your eggs "not quite right" okay?? The food was excellent and I even ordered a BLT to go to take my hubby for lunch and baybayyy that thing had so much of that good ol bacon on it the lady could hardly close that container!! I haven't tried their lunch menu yet but it's on the to-do list believe THAT! I'll let y'all know if they know what to do with all that good bacon grease they got back...

Karen’s is a true gem in the Pensacola community, and our first visit today was a joy. The customer service was fast, hospitable, and consistent, the dishes were prepared and served quickly and were absolutely delicious, and everything tasted home made. The inside of the restaurant was clean and you could see it was well kept. We enjoyed a grilled pork chop, sweet potato casserole, cornbread, and green beans for one meal, and a delicious bacon cheeseburger and side salad for the other. The specials come with two sides and you will see they all sound wonderful, and there was a bunch of home cooked desserts available up front. A must try restaurant. Note, they are only open Monday thru Friday for breakfast and lunch. An...

First of all they have roaches. I saw three just in the short time that I was there. I sat down at the booth closest to the counter and when I did a roach crawled from underneath the booth. The same woman who answered my call and worked at the front counter walked by and stomped on the roach AND LEFT IT ON THE FLOOR. The other two ran under a door nearby. This morning I called in a few orders over the phone and the lady on the other end seemed to have got it all written down correctly. When I got there the tickets were jumbled and she got very irritated when I had questions. She was very rude and not at all welcoming. I will not be returning. 6/14 was the first and last time I will be...

First time here and it will not be the last. When we got there we sat ourselves and Ms. Karen came to greet us with the menu. It was still early but quite a few people were already dining. They only open during the week 6am to 2pm. Not open on the weekends. If you want a good down home breakfast, I would highly recommend this place. I got myself a coffee and three egg breakfasts with homestyle fries, country fried steak, n biscuit.. The portion is very generous for $11.99. My camera person got the morning special steak omelette with hash brown n toast. Overall 9 Chaus will be back for sure.

I loved Karen’s breakfast it is the best. I stopped in to try the lunch menu because I love the breakfast. I wasn’t impressed with the lunch it was really bland nothing like her breakfast. The cornbread was hard as a rock I broke it in half and it flew everywhere. I felt so bad after for the waitress(the clean up)😩they need to toss the cornbread it’s not even edible. They also don’t have a kids menu if I would’ve known that I definitely wouldn’t have came here today. The service is good, breakfast is the best , lunch was bland and wasn’t worth the money to me. Go for breakfast, skip the lunch
