HORRIBLE Experience…….I will Never Eat at The Brandon Location again No Ma’am! I ordered the Chicken and Waffles with Pecans. When the waffles arrived there were pecans on top…I asked the waitress if pecans were cooked in the batter. The waitress said, “ Oh yell we just put a few on top for garnish. As I ate the waffle, I discovered there were no pecans cooked in the waffle. I let our waitress know and she took my plate and said she would have it remade. So a few minutes later the Manager came back to the table with the plate and asked if I wanted the Chicken fingers on the plate. I replied NO, I don’t where that plate has been. The Manager said ok, we’ll make you some more. Shortly, thereafter the waitress returned with the plate. As I cut into the Waffle I discovered the Waffle had been sliced in half all the way through (it look like I had 2 slices of bread). When I picked the Top up…I discovered whole pecans laying on top of the bottom slice. I called the Waitress and stated to explain and she Rudely, said I have nothing to do with what goes on in the kitchen. My Family members were shocked…..Due to the fact they eat at KeKe’s regularly at least twice a week. We call for the manager. I told the manager, I didn’t want the food. Due to the fact the Waffle was once again prepared wrong. When I explained and showed her how the Waffle had been sliced open and the pecans placed inside the waffle. The Manger Proceeded to INSULT our Intelligence by stating the Waffle iron, slices the Waffle open sometimes when the batter is cut from around the Waffle Iron before it’s open. I replied I’m a very good cook and own a professional Waffle Iron and Never have I had a Waffle sliced in half like a sandwich. I said the problem is the Pecans were never put in the Batter and cooked on the Waffle Iron. Once again the Manager deflected …..don’t worry I took your meal off the bill and she went own talking and acknowledging my family members as regulars. Never did the Manager ever say this is not the way We prepare Pecan Waffles….Final Words if you want The Best Chicken and Waffles in Tampa Bay go to Metro Diner. If you just want a good old Pecan Waffle cooked to perfection go to Waffle House…However this type of Service is inherent within this Corporate Organization …………..Denny’s! Yes KeKe’s is under the...

The last time I was here, I didn't even think to leave a review when I should have. I don't normally visit this location because it is simply out of my price range (though, to be fair, most things are). However, after coming in to ask about their gluten-free menu, the manager, Risha, ended up customizing a whole, delicious breakfast for me for which, in the end, I was not charged. I was only charged for my drink. I did not, in a million years, expect such generosity toward me in this country, in addition to excellent service throughout from my server, Nicole. Today, though I still can't really afford to be buying food, I needed to eat again, so I returned (admittedly hoping no one would feel like I was fishing for another free meal, however often I honestly need those). This time, I met Alex, my server. She was a very kind and attentive person who ensured all my food could be prepared exactly to my specifications with no room for error, especially considering I have a gluten sensitivity. She then informed me that Risha, the manager, was once again ensuring the accuracy of my order personally. Once again, my food was perfect and delicious (and this does include the gluten-free, stuffed french toast, which is very hard to accomplish with any gluten-free bread. I had this both times). The only regret with which I am leaving this day is that they're not currently hiring, because I could use a little income and a discount on food. 10...

This past Sunday 5/26/24, my family and I wanted to get breakfast before going to church. Instead of going to First Watch, we decided to go to KeKe’s- WHAT A HUGE MISTAKE! The host walked us to the back of the cafe without asking if we had a seating preference. My family and I normally enjoy sitting at window tables, so my sister politely shared our preference. With an attitude, the host stormed back to the front counter without saying anything or directing us to follow her. After she stopped at the front counter to look at what I assumed was a seating chart, she then walked over to a table at a window. She tossed the menus and eating utensils on the table and didn’t say anything to us. What a horrible experience! Her attitude was rude, unprofessional, and quite urban. This was not my first time there, but it will be my last. My family was visiting Florida that week and I always take them to this location, but I will not bring them back. This young lady resembled a Latina/Hispanic with curly hair in a ponytail, a nose ring, and dark lip liner. It's evident that that host needs some training on proper customer service.
