They substituted an out if stock item without telling me. I go back to the door and they locked it because dining was now closed, but two employees saw me at the door and ignored me while I'm standing outside with my food. Finally the same guy comes from the back door and said he'd let them know I'm at the door. I still waited a while before someone came to the door. She asked what was wrong with my order and I told her I ordered 2 mac & cheeses and one mashed potato, but got 2 mashed potatoes and one Mac & cheese. She continues to tell me "You got 2 potatoes because we ran out of Mac and cheese, so she just gave you another potato."
Firstly, if you knew what was wrong with my order, why would you ask me what's wrong with it? Secondly, you don't just replace an item without telling me. We didnt want another potato. My child wanted Mac & cheese. I would've wanted a refund instead. Just unprofessional. And the white lady that I guess was running the store tonight was also very unprofessional, talking loud about whatever grievances she had with the employees, being rude to a customer that thought my order was his, and also being rude about people in the drive thru, being condescending about them "expecting her to know they're there when she doesn't have a camera". Read moreStopped there on the way to work there was one person in front of us at the drive thru it took 15 minutes for someone to take there order at that point there was ppl behind us in line so we could t back out of the drive thru. After they took the person in front of us order they proceeded to take another 15 minutes to take our order after we kept saying hello hello at the speaker. Finally after a total of 30 minutes in the drive thru the employee finally says sorry my head set died can I take your order so we ordered food and pulled up to the window. After another 10 minutes at the window the employee comes to the window and says they need to pull us up and park so they could drop some nuggets. At this point we are 40 minutes into this kfc trip and at witz end so we ask to speak to the manager and she comes to the window rude as can be so we asked for our money back and the number to corporate which she refused to give us the number for corporate so here I am writing this review don’t ever go there it’s horrible the staff is rude and even when not busy you will wait for aver 40 minutes for drive...
Read moreOrdered on the app around 7:50PM. Pull into the drive through to pick up my order and was informed over the drive-thru speaker they closed early. I asked about my online order and how they would resolve it/refund me. They didn’t respond. Had to ask them if they were still there, to which they told me to “hold on”. They came back to tell me they don’t know how to refund my order and I would have to call the corporate number to get my money back. When I asked if they seriously couldn’t resolve this issue locally, I got a bunch of sass about how they’re short staffed.
I can understand being short staffed caused them to close early, but I fail to see how that has anything to do with continuing online ordering and not being able to issue me a refund locally. I had to waste an additional 15 minutes just to get my money back.
Honestly, the attitude I was given was garbage and the restaurant messed up, and instead of being remotely apologetic, they decided to be hostile. Your problems shouldn’t be the customer’s problems....
