if I could write this review and not rate this restaurant I would as it stands now I gave it one star simply because I had to. Please patiently read this review and I hope you understand why this will be paragraphs. Landed and wanted jerk chicken, came to this restaurant because it was closest to my location. I will call the smiling lady behind the counter 'clueless' because she was obviously obliviously to real issue. Ordered small jerk chicken no rice, came with bread. i looked at it and thought this was not jerked today so I tasted it. The chicken was what we Jamaicans call 'touch'. Other customers came in restaurant and I discretely told clueless that the chicken was off. She took it to the kitchen and told the chef..you would expect some objection but none came. I asked clueless to replace my order instead of me taking back my $10.56. $2 out of that was her tip. I asked for curry goat to replace my spoiled jerk chicken and clueless started to calculate the difference in pricing...This is why some businesses fail and some will continue to succeed. Are you following me so far? I asked Clueless if she was going to charge me $2 and some cents more for the curry goat..she looked at me as if I was crazy and went as far as to explain that the curry goat cost more. Now, what I should have done was take back my $2 tip and add it to the already overpriced spoil jerk chicken and pay for the curry goat. But instead I told her to have the money, leaving clueless with $10:56. The moral to this..obviously it was not about the money...but about customer service. Luckily my food came to me opened and I was able to see if before I drove off but what about unsuspecting customers. So Lets Dish lets really dish. As a courtesy you should have replaced the spoiled jerk chicken with something that I requested without asking for additional money especially when it was a mere $2. Provided that my request is reasonable. So to Clueless and the manager of Let's Dish, shame on you. As for the customers, check your food before you leave the restaurant. Thank you for reading and for...
Read moreI sat down at the bar to grab a bite to eat but no one even talked to me as I’m sitting right in front of them. I finally said I’m ready to order and they told me they were out of it so I picked something else and she said they were out of that too with a very unpleasant tone. So I asked “ what do you have?” So she pointed at the menu so finally I could tell I wasn’t very welcome there and there were other people at the bar and they were staring at me too so I said “ well I guess I’ll leave” and the lady said ok!! I was dying laughing. Am I in the twilight zone? lol horrible service and if they don’t want you there they will definitely let u feel it so I went next door to Tacos Emanuel and it was great! Good atmosphere and great food. Let’s...
Read moreWhen it comes to curry I am VERY picky. I asked to sample the curry chicken just to see if I could stand eating it. The cashier said they don't give samples and asked me had I never tasted Jamaican food. Well yes I've had Jamaican food but, as you know, everyone's food tastes differently. She consulted the chef and he allowed me to sample. I purchased a small curry chicken plate with rice and peas and cabbage for $9.10. Though it's not the best curry I've had, I enjoyed my food, besides the rice. This is the 2nd Caribbean restaurant in WPB I've been to with overly dry rice. The cabbage is really good IMO. It has crunch and tastes kinda sweet. I plan to come back here to try the steamed fish. They are better...
