I wish I could add 10 stars to this place for the humility and decency they showed me tonight. Just want to take time to share my experience. My kids had 3 coupons for a free kids meal. I called over the phone 📞 to make sure they were valid & was told you had to buy an adult meal per kids coupon. Needless to say, this was one of those times in motherhood where I was relying on the free kids meal to help my 3 kids out tonight. I am not some bum, this was just a super trying week for me so I did what any mother would and strived for my children to eat. I ended up driving to the store for clarification on the coupons and with hopefulness that I could be helped for them. I always say nothing is by coincidence but only by fate. I walked in tonight and intended to respectfully accept if I wasn’t able to get food for them. I was directed to a man who met me at the bar. He explained how the coupons worked and I just kind of stood there a bit defeated :/ he looked at me and said “you know what ma’am that’s alright tell me what you need for your kids I will help you” I began to cry :( because for one, it already takes humility for me to even ask for help and 2 I just realized it was God working in my favor through this man for my children. I teared up and explained what I needed for my kids & he sent such a kind server to me to help me. She took my order judgment free and not one person in this establishment made me feel uncomfortable or weird for needing help! Sometimes it’s not just about the service you receive when you eat in an establishment but the way the place treats you regardless. I stepped outside to gather myself in peace & wait for my order and the kind server brought my kids food to me. (HONORING the free kids meal coupon despite the stipulations) when she walked out I asked what her name was. It was Celina. I then asked what the gentleman’s name was who originally helped me. I say nothing is by coincidence only by fate because his name turned out to be Angel . To Celina and Angel, thank you for showing me the upmost respect and kindness a mother could ask for. I wish you both many blessings in life. To the kind young lady at the host stand and to boy who joked with me about having dogs and not kids, thank you both. To the manager who allowed this to happen here tonight, THANK you. To the LONGHORNS establishment, THANK YOU for having such kind commendable people to honor your establishment. You never know what a person is going through and I’ve been in the restaurant business not one person was too “grouchy” by this time of night to be kind and help me. I was shocked and so grateful at the gratitude I was shown tonight it seriously brought me to tears I knew it was nothing but God working through amazing people. I will most definitely be back to return the gratitude in full effect. I will never forget this experience, neither you all!

Read moreI would like to say I do love longhorn so I wanted to take the time before giving this location a star . (Just this location). First the customer service needs to improve; no greeter, no one at the door way to assist to go orders. I’ve been to this location serval times and different times of day does not matter on service. (Over 8times at this location always dissatisfied except once with my son) The food is not cooked to longhorn standard on 3-4 occasions I’ve been at this location taking food to go. On one occasion I called at 8:45 to place a to go order for a sweet potato and was told they were out. So my husband suggested just going to eat instead and we did and guess what they were not out. I saw a table order it and I ask my server after ordering and she confirmed they did have them. So I spent money and still didn’t get my sweet potato. (Favorite side) I live in between two of your restaurants and I will say it is a 5-7min drive north for your second location but I recommend traveling to the SpringHill location. They customer service excellent! The to go orders are answered and sitting in that restaurant is relaxing fun & friendly. They have more staff maybe?? But it’s worth it. Everyone is relaxed staff wise and have smile on there faces. People should know you hate your job in my opinion if your a server (Port Richey location) I will say I pass this location often so that’s why I even bother but not worth it. Today will be our last time coming to this location. 30 min for a sweet potato! I know I tried it again @ 7pm and I couldn’t call ahead big know one answered and I will say the restaurant is not packed. But I’ve been too three separate other locations and the sweet potato takes maybe 5 min and I’m out the door. Calling or not. I’m really disappointed because the quality of the food comes in to question when I order an outlaw ribeye and got something smaller with no bone. Bread with no fork or anything to eat with, and I asked. I watched the manger check on the table beside me and he did not check on me and I’m sitting with bread plate but nothing to cut my bread open with or spread butter.
Very disappointed /...
Read moreWe had reservations for 7 at 4:00 pm, from the time of our arrival the overall customer service was such a turn off. The hostess refused to seat us stating it's Longhorn policy that more that half the group has to be here to be seated, 5 out of 7 standing there is more than half the party, so according to Longhorn policy we should have been sat, mind you two of the people were over 80 year old and expected to stand. Less than a minute later the last two of the group showed up 4:02pm, and then the hostess said we don't know where we are going to seat you, we don't have a table available for you... Ummm.... we have a reservation and the restaurant is empty, like a virtual ghost town empty tables everywhere. Finally we were sat and said our hellos to our birthday girl in our party, we as a group go out a few times a year and it's important to us as this is our extended friends/family group, some of the nicest people you could ever want to be in the presence of, I am not exaggerating. Our waitress had a bad attitude and the manners of a Bar Hag, rude and unprofessional in server skills from the time she came to the table. Four people in our group are from overseas and their English can be a little difficult to understand, but they are very very kind, HIGHLY Educated like The University of Cambridge, United Kingdom. To our waitress; please loose your attitude, you were in the presence of actual Foreign Dignitaries from Sri Lanka - don't judge a book by it's cover because you never know whom you are serving.... and they were nothing but kind to you. Our group is never rude and are always kind to servers, it's not an easy job and I actually was a server when I first started out in life. It is our custom for outstanding service is to leave a tip half to equal of the total bill, the waitress still received a 20% tip - I am unsure if our waitress doesn't like serving certain kinds of people, if that is the case find alternative employment... if that is not the case she needs coaching from management serving in an upscale restaurant, or find a different job at a red neck bar where that kind of personality and service...
