I came into this store with extremely high hopes in finding the bed of my dreams and having an excellent customer service experience considering how high end and intelligent the products are advertised to be. This was not the case. First of all we were talked into a bed that was far from what we were used to in terms of comfort. We were fed lies when it came to functionality and comfort saying we would “get used to it” after using it for a little bit. It’s almost been a month and I still feel like I’m sleeping on an air mattress. Not to mention the base of the bed was faulty and does not work to its full potential. We decided to go with the flex top so that if my partner and I wanted to sleep at different inclines, we could. But I cannot raise my side of the bed without raising both sides and vice versa. It only works the way it should sometimes. This is just one of the few small problems that we have had to add to the big one that I am about to explain. We made the decision to begin our return for all products except linens. We were soon made aware that we cannot exchange or return the base of the bed which is around $3,200. This policy was not brought to our attention during the purchase. Going over exchanges and returns during the purchase the associate stated that all items that were being sold to us were able to be returned or exchanged, excluding linens. There was no mention of the base being apart of that exclusion. The associate failed to inform us that the base of the bed could not be exchanged or returned. While On the phone for 1 1/2 hours with customer service, we were passed through 3 different people before we were given someone who was actually able to handle our matter just to be told that a ticket would be put in and that we would have to wait til the next day for their boss to come in to deal with our issue. Needless to say, I will no longer be a sleep number customer after this disheartening and extremely disappointing mess. Stay tuned for...

I recently paid this store a visit to trial the Select Comfort against the Tempurpedic mattress. Upon walking into the store, Tony the floor sales person was busy reviewing his personal phone as I had to capture his attention in order to get assistance from him. I spoke with Tony briefly asking him about the features of the Select Comfort as we were close to making a decision on purchasing a Select Comfort or a Tempurpedic mattress. Tony provided a brief insight into the bed and proceeded to demonstrate the features of the mattress. During this process, a retired couple comes into the store and Tony begins to speak with the couple and slowly gravitates toward the couple and carries on an in depth conversation with the older couple. As I stood next to the mattress waiting on Tony to just greet the incoming customer, it turned out to be an excess of 5 minutes waiting. After the five minute mark, I interrupted the conversation and told Tony two things: first, I didn
t appreciate being slighted as a customer as I am just as valuable as any other customer and two, it was very unprofessional and uncouth of him to represent Select Comfort in this manner. The only reply i got from Tony was the look you typically see from a deer as its staring into headlights as well as a hypocritical apology. I am typically very vocal when it comes to good customer service as well as product value, which Select Comfort did not satisfy either one. As a result of Tony
s poor image of Select Comfort, I purchased an 8K Tempurpedic King bed with adjustable bases at Rooms to Go, as I can assert they valued me as a new customer as well as this marks the beginning of new relationship with RTG. I can say with all certainty that anyone asking me about a Select Comfort will be referred to RTG for a Tempurpedic mattress. HORRIBLE... Read moreWorst company I have ever dealt with. Not only did they talk me into getting pillows with them but they gave me the wrong pillows. We wanted medium and they gave us Extra firm at $100 a pop. Price for a mattress protector was outrageous but supposedly needed it in case any damage to the bed would be covered by the company. We also had to pay $175 delivery fee, which we waiting 3 weeks to get our bed. When we got the bed it took a while to find our sleep number, which we were advised in advance it would. However, we kept sinking into the middle of the bed. When one of us would get out of bed we would always feel them. Then sink farther into the middle of the bed when they did. Not only sinking but feeling the hard divider between the two chambers. When were finally fed up with dealing with the bed we called the company. After spending over $1,400 for the bed they were only going to give us $700. That is half of what I actually paid for my bed! I was livid. There was nothing they would do for us. They wanted us to spend another $175 for them to pick up the bed from our home. And would not take back the pillows (which aren’t even being used because they are the wrong ones), or bed protector. All this company wants is your money, they do not care about your comfort in sleep. We wanted to spend a decent amount of money on a bed, because we spend 1/3 of our life sleeping. Waste of money! This company isn’t done hearing...
