I have gone here throughout the last year usually with no issues and have spent well over $1500-2000 here in repairs on various devices. However within the last 2 months or so Iāve been dealing with 2 particular phones that have continuously been giving me issues.
I brought an iPhone 11 here that is barely a year old that Iām still making payments on with T-mobile that needed a LCD screen. This phone has never been cracked and in the same visit I also brought a iPhone 12 Pro Max that needed front and rear glass, as well as a charging port and SIM card reader. I gave the shop several days to work on the iPhone 12 Pro Max due to its condition, but was never able to properly complete the job leaving it with the SIM card slot still not reading and now suddenly the up volume not working. Now the phone also is doing strange loading screens that will kick me off the screen at random times and make it to where you cannot do anything on the phone unless you restart it with only the side buttons, except you cannot restart it without the up volume button unless you know how to restart it otherwise. I can only assume this is happening because they use parts that arenāt qualified to be used on Apple devices and they are extremely cheap yet they will charge you at minimum $100 for each repair. I even noticed in the general settings stating that the phone recognizes unknown parts.
My iPhone 11 is also doing the same thing with the freezing and I have gone through at least 5 or 6 lcd screens with them now because the screen stops working entirely within a day maybe a few days if Iām lucky and doesnāt let you do anything at all. Since my first or second repair with this phone, the Face ID also does not work now and now Iām left with another black screen because the LCD is not working again. I assumed the phone might be dead so I plugged it in and noticed I felt it vibrate indicating it was charging but the screen was black. The store has only offered to give me $100 back for this phone which is a complete insult and slap in the face. They have tried to blame all these things on me, yet not recognizing that they have taken apart these phones numerous times damaging them every time they are being opened.
I have trusted a phone repair place that claims they never have had bad business in 20yrs to fix my phone not make it worse because that is their business and thatās what they are there to do. Instead I am left with 2 phones that are costing me more money. You do not PAY to go to a phone repair shop and leave with extra problems and be forced to buy something new. Now my only option is to buy 2 new phones, and I still am responsible for the remainder of the financing on my iPhone 11 which again is barely a year old and I paid $549 for, and I have paid off my iPhone 12 Pro Max which costed me $1199.99 new.
I tried again and again to give them opportunities to make things right and they just tell me they never have problems and they try to make excuses why new things arise with the phones and maybe they got a bad batch of LCDs.
GIVING A REFUND OF $100 is not going to make anything better when Iām left with 2 phones beyond fixing .
Save yourself the headache and go to Apple or a different repair shop .
Ps. I noticed another person mentioning their hours and this is true Iāve had several occasions where I tried to make contact during ābusiness hoursā and they werenāt in shop. I understand this mall has light foot traffic but itās hard to rely on a place that chooses their own schedule when itās...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI needed to purchase a phone to use as a trade in. I called and the woman said they have an iPhone 12 in stock. I specifically asked if it had any physical damage or water damage and she said no. When my husband arrived he checked the water damage sensor and it was pink indicating it has been exposed to water. I can no longer use that phone as a trade in as t-mobile will not accept the phone if the sensor is not white. I have confirmed this with t-mobile. The gentleman there still tried to sell us the phone and said t-mobile would still take it with the sensor being pink. That is incorrect. We were supposed to purchase the iPhone for $300. The only other phone they had that would work for the trade in was a Samsung for $340. The gentleman would not honor the price of $300 for the Samsung that we were supposed to purchase the iPhone for even though we drove all the way there based on the fact that we were told the iPhone was not damaged. The right thing to do would have been to honor the original price and sell us the Samsung for $300 considering we wasted our time driving all the way there. Beware when purchasing from here that the phone has damage they wonāt...
