I only use the drive-through, so I can't speak to the restaurant itself. The food, however, I make sure I treat myself to at least once a month. They make some incredible sandwiches that you won't find anywhere else. I love their Napa Chicken Salad sandwich, most of the time I eat it a half at a time because it's a lot of food. I love their bagels (the honey walnut cream cheese is great on a toasted bagel) and their cheese danish. Their souffles used to be really, really good, but now they are only good. I don't know what they changed, but I don't enjoy the flavor of them like I used to. They used to have a great butternut squash ravioli, but it's no longer on the menu. I don't know if that's a summer thing or permanent. If you enjoy the fresh flavors Panera is noted for, don't get the pastry ring. It tastes like it came from the Walmart. The salads are REALLY good as well. The Green Goddess Cobb Salad is incredibly fresh - I always bring it home and eat it for lunch AND dinner (it's a lot of food) using my own raspberry vinaigrette (usually Paul Newman). The best part about Panera is you can order online, there are plenty of boxes to be very specific about what you want in your salad or sandwich or to add something that's not in it that you want. They also have an extra box for you to put information like "I'll be there in 20 minutes" because that's how far away it is from your house or "Will pick up at drive through." Be sure to get a "My Rewards" card - you'll get either a great deal (money off) or free food based on what you spent the previous month at their restaurant. I don't know if it's based on what you order from them, but I've never gotten a reward I wouldn't use. Yes, Panera is more expensive than other places you can drive up to a window and get food from, but the overall quality of their food and their menu selections rate high above other...
Read moreI'm very 50/50 with this Panera location. Sometimes the food is delicious & fresh and other times its old & disgusting. Sometimes you get fair portions & sometimes they give you half the size of their fair(normal) portions - which are 1/3 or less of the portion size of the pictures. Sometimes the workers are nice & sometimes they're discriminating, rude, jerks. It doesnt matter what time of the day you come, you're rolling the dice with this Panera.
LAST VISIT: Earlier this week I was in there & food was great but my favorite drink that I ALWAYS get (the orange colored tea) was old & fermented. You could literally smell it standing in front of the machine. And the taste was so strong & pungent.
I told a worker, who said they would replace (which they never did) so when I went to leave I told a manager (who was already aware of problem...but still it wasnt fixed)...instead of offering a refund she went over with me & took a small sip from a glass. She didnt say anything. There is absolutely NO WAY she didnt taste that disgusting, strong, FERMENTED taste! My boyfriend & I both about choked on it. Plus you could literally smell it standing there in front of the machine.
I just dont like being treated like I'm trying to get a $1.99 refund on my $20 meal like how they acted. Thats bull. The tea was old & disgusting & they knew it. Act like you're going to fix the problem instead of acting like there is no problem & we're just crazy trying to get $2 back. Side Note: my boyfriend as well as another lady I didnt even know tasted it and said the same exact thing.
TO SUM IT ALL UP: Thats just our last visit...there were other good visits & other bad ones. Like I said, if you like to gamble with the freshness, portion sizes, customer service, and all that jazz - this is the...
Read moreFirst time going to Panera- last time also. This location left a very poor impression on me. The "ladies" on shift were OVERLY DISTRACTED by the rain, which I'll admit was very strong, but they could not seem focused on anything but drops of water from which they were shielded, considering they WERE inside and supposed to be working. An order for 3 identical 1/2 sandwiches, soups and salads were placed and so my boyfriend and I waited patiently. I was almost knocked over by an employee who attempted to barge back into the vestibule to inform her coworkers she had just dropped her car keys down a sewer drain in the parking lot. She began to feverishly call 911 to seek the emergency attention the keys required-- again I'll note she almost took me down in the process. Being careful often goes a long way. As we waiting for our order to be completed over the bickering and carrying on, we were finally informed everything was ready for take out. Upon going home, my boyfriend and I realized that despite everything was paid for, all we received was one 1/2 sandwich, 3 cups of soup and 1 salad. Thirty something dollars for what? I imagine nothing. I didn't get to eat. My mother didn't get to eat. I surely hope the employee was able to have the emergency rescue team save her keys. Lord knows there's no way of rescuing my opinion of the ladies on shift during the afternoon of 09/16. I would recommend going somewhere else where you may actually get what you paid for. But...
