Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Florida

We’re currently doing storm restoration for FPL. Due to the great amount of crews FPL brought onboard to gain a speedy recovery, daily lodging locations and instructions are spontaneous. Our lodging orders can arrive early in the day or in the evening, whatever the case is we have to figure out our day around those instructions for the crews we carry.

Last night we got our lodging instructions at 7pm to sleep in Fort Myers, Fl and travel from Bradenton, FL. Considering the situation, we had to have rooms secured and dinner arranged in a short span of time.

Luckily, the team at Marcos pizza really had our backs when they hustled with a huge late night order. I was looking for speed and convenience, they provided that and quality as well. We were all impressed with how good the food tasted and the care they showed our crews having our order set up with everything we needed AND MORE!

It’s a long review but after being away from home for a month doing storm restoration for Helene and Milton, things like this really shows the appreciation and I just felt I had to pay y'all...

I am officially done with ordering pizza from Marco’s specifically this location. Almost every time I have ordered from here something is missing whether it be a modification to the pizza, utensils, or sauce. I voiced my concerns to the store by phone and the lady whom answered the phone was very nice and apologetic and offered me a free pizza. She assured me that it was in my notes and I called ahead of time to confirm it. Today I tried to order my free pizza and lo and behold apparently there is no note on my account and there is nothing they can do and frankly it’s embarrassing. Unfortunately that was the last straw for me. I truly do feel for the employees but my service and quality have been underwhelming. I will add that I had already voiced my concern to a delivery driver about a prior order that was missing something and he was nice enough to give me a card for a free pizza but I don’t want free pizzas. I just want my original orders to be made the way I ordered them and for the sauces and utensils I ordered to be there with my pizza but...

I guess 6 pizza's is too much for this location. Ordered at 11:15 am for my kids birthday party which was 1.7 miles away from their location, said it was going to be 35/40 mins which was fine. Received a call 30+ minutes later saying pizza was delayed due to a car dealership ordering 20 pizza's. Waited until almost 1 pm and still no pizza. I couldn't pick up because of the birthday party or I would have. I won't be ordering at this location anymore. If you can't deliver pizza as a pizza shop I don't know what you're doing but it is wrong. Luckily we had chips, fruit, snacks, and cake for the kids attending.

I understand staffing issues or traffic but 2 hours...
