Matanga Food Truck — Restaurant in Florida

This food truck is in the parking lot of an office building that's closed for the night, typical of the many food trucks in this area. Also typical is the central/south American menu. Not so typical is the food itself which was as delicious as described in the truck sized menu. It was our first visit to this truck so we ordered a simple hamburger and hot dog, LOADED, with all the yummy goodness, sauces, relishes, cheeses, potato crisps, ketchup and mustard. Most importantly the hot dog and burger filled their buns completely, the perfect meat to bun ratio. This truck appeared to be family operated, husband, wife and their son and they speak English, which is a big help to me to answer questions about the menu. Absolutely love this food truck. We’ve been going here since they open up. The food is delicious. Taste has fresh food atmosphere grade. You can come with the family. They have sitting area. My cachapa was great, and we keep coming back for the patacon, however, I do have to say this: you’re not a busy local, you have some customers here and there, some others take delivery and others do take out, GENERALLY you’re not a busy place, take care of the customers you have in house, those are the ones that will keep consuming, those are the ones that will be back, and those are the ones that will leave you a tip or they might very well bring more people next time and there you go, just a...
