The store was clean when I came in but I can't say I was impressed with the customer service. I placed an order on the kiosk for 15 cheeseburgers as I had a house full of people to feed. As soon as I paid I heard a young lady yell out "15 cheeseburgers! Who orders that many burgers?!?" I quietly sat down and waited for the order to be made. While waiting I heard two other comments about the number of burgers I had ordered. Once my order was finished and handed to me I tried to get the attention of the manager twice as he walked away. This was approximately 8pm tonight and there was noone else in the dining room. Therefore, he was not too busy to talk to me. However, one of the other workers approached me and asked if I needed anything. I asked her if the gentleman I was trying to get the attention of was the manager. She confirmed that it was. I then asked if I could speak with him. He approached the counter and I explained to him that before his employees criticized someone's order, they should probably make sure that the customer is not in ear shot. It was obvious he was not listening and just brushing me off as he couldnt even look at me standing at the counter, he kept looking at the soap dispenser towards the kitchen. I finally looked over the counter and waved my hand saying hey I'm not back there, I am right in front of you. He replied that he knows. So then I said, "You can't even look at me when I am talking to you?" To which he replied, "No". He then said that he would talk to his employees. I am sure he won't being as he can't look someone in the eye while having a conversation. I told him that I can see Im not going to get anywhere with him as he isn't even listening and that I will be leaving a review. He didn't seem to care about the poor customer service that he and his staff were giving. I honestly don't know how this man was put in a leadership position. If it wasn't for customers, he wouldn't have a paycheck. Furthermore, I in no way should have to justify my order. Instead, the employees should be taught to do the job they are getting paid for, which doesn't include critiquing...
Read moreMcDonald's is advertising collectible cups and I was specifically interested in the hello kitty plastic reusable cup you could get with purchase of a meal. I get up to the order part and I asked if they have the hello kitty collectible cup, they replied yes and I asked what I had to buy to get one. I was told either a 10 piece nugget meal or a Big Mac meal. I got the Big Mac meal so they give me the meal and as I’m driving off I open the package and it’s a minions cup. I pull back around and I said hey you guys gave me the wrong cup and they pull me around to talk to the manager. He tells me they have no way of knowing what cup is inside the bag when they sell them and I asked for a refund and he told me that since I already opened the bag the cup was in he cannot give me a refund or take it back. I said well can I at least get a refund for the Big Mac meal because I don’t eat McDonalds and I originally only came for the cup. I was told no because the meal comes with the cup hence why they cannot refund the order all together. Then I asked if he could just open another package and hopefully find a hello kitty cup he also said no he could not do that either. I am really upset and also sobbing crying because I just wanted the cup I came for. I spent almost 15$ on a meal that I won’t eat for a cup that wasn’t what I wanted. I’m really upset and wasted my money for nothing they really had no sympathy for the negligence on their part. If I was told that the cups were random and there was no guarantee that I could get that specific cup I would have never even came. Somehow it’s my fault for opening the bag to see what’s inside. And to top it off I was told that I was holding up the line and that he was really trying to make me understand...
Read moreThere is a manager at this McDonalds named Selena who will validate the importance of her existence through policing anyone with a coupon. Do not think she will just let you use your 100% valid coupon without a show down. She means business!!
For example, we had a coupon for a free ice cream cone for our daughter. She is 2 and did a great job on our shopping trip that we decided to reward her with an ice cream cone. The parking lot was a zoo so my husband let me out to run in and get the cone for her. I had to spend 5 minutes explaining to the glaring, disbelieving Selena that I had a child in the car who was under 12 and that I just didn't want to get her out of the car in all the confusion. I got my cone, but I felt like I was trying to pull a fast one on a multi billion dollar company by scamming a $1 ice cream cone. Good thing she's there, otherwise McDonalds would go under.
The next time I had a BOGO Salad coupon. She made quite the show to inspect the coupon ttttthhhhhhooooorrrrrooooouuuuuggggghhhhhllllllllyyyyyyyyy. It was rather embarrassing and, again, made it seem like I was trying to pull a fast one on the company. This isn't a general glance over, this is a microscope investigation. You would think a manager would have a general knowledge of what type of coupons are floating around for her area!
All the other aspects of this McDonalds (food, decor, other servers) is very good and excellent. Just be careful the next time you are in line with you legal, legit, valid coupon. If you get Selena you'll get the thorough...
