English Translation of my Spanish speaking mothers experience at this facility that she wrote herself in Spanish: "I felt I was discriminated on basis of classism. The manager did not let me buy food from the store because I do not own/ drive a car, and because I am not technologically proficient. The store was under construction and I asked 2 workers chatting outside if the adult happy meal was in stock. 1 of them told me that they were and quickly turned around to her co-worker and said, "I chose the wrong time to be outside". I then ask how I could purchase one as there was construction occurring within the inside of the store. She curtly told me that I needed to download the app. Since I don't know how to download the app, I asked if I could order it from the drive-thru she said, "Do what you want". I went to the drive-thru on foot and started to order, the person said they didn't speak Spanish and to go to the next window. When I got there, I faced the same lady that had been so rude to me minutes before. She said, " I told you that you have to get the app to order" I said 'I don't know how to download it, I am not good with technology" and she said " I am not selling it to you because you do not have a car". I asked dots peak to the manager since she would not sell the food to me and she replied that she was the manager so I said okay thank you and left. There was no need for her to be so mean to me because Im not technologically proficient and because I do not own or...
Read moreBEWARE EATING HERE. Bums frequent here. They sleep on the seats, roll up modified dutches in the bathrooms, bathe in the bathrooms, shave in the bathrooms, beg inside and outside of the store for money at the level of harassing you, drink alcohol inside the store, I was harassed while in a stall in the bathroom (imagine peeing or pooping and having some bum tell you angrily to hurry up), there are groups of bums that gather on the back, one tried fighting with a guy on his way to his car outside the store, and the worst part of all this was the staff doesn’t even care to call the police. The first fight in the store I called the cops. Not them. Which brings me to the staff: slow, lazy, I’ve got to always check their work for accuracy because there’s a high probability they’ll get it wrong and one started mouthing off at me because she got the order wrong. I also had to stop a fight between kids from Southridge and of course they just let it happen. I’m not their superhero and if you should avoid this store unless you like to pay to constantly defend yourself and be given lackluster service. Look at the post here about the fish sandwich and ask yourself if you go here: does this happen often or not? Here it definitely...
Read moreThis review is based on the McDonalds on Quailroost and 114th....where to start! My most recent visit Thursday was a late night drive thru run. They had no food to serve despite being open. The window worker was not friendly or welcoming. Apparently, I was supposed to know they were out of food and not waste her time.
As for our visit prior on the previous Sunday. The food quality was based on chicken nuggets that tasted like they had been refried. The staff is rarely welcoming or friendly, not sure why, I have visited other franchises and not found this, but this location is consistently unpleasant server's. this makes me think it's maybe a training or morale issue at this location. The only reason we try this location is the convenience factor, but we rarely go anymore because it's so unpleasant.
I based atmosphere on two things. Inside the restaurant dining, they took away all the outlets, so i can't charge my phone or work on my laptop while i eat my meal....very unwelcoming. the drove thru is clean but often times i've been harassed by homeless while waiting in the drive thru, leaving me feeling insane.
McDonalds needs to do better, this...
