McDonald's — Restaurant in Florida

Went to the second drive thru line.. there was two cars ahead of me.. was taking a long time thought it was the people ordering, however they were sitting there waiting for someone to respond. After about 10 minutes I got to the speaker waited a few for someone to acknowledge me .. no one did I said hello multiple times and still did not get an answer.. all this time people were being served in the first drive thru. So I drive around to the first drive thru got to the speaker and told them I had been in the second as I could see people still waiting and not being served, the drive thru guy as ok.. like he didn't care I started placing my order and heard them finally start acknowledging the second drive thru. I'm placing my order I had to repeat my order multiple times as he kept hearing the wrong items. Once he got it I had him repeat the order to make sure it was correct. Be For he could give me a total he was having trouble and had to get a manager to do something. At this point three cars had been served in the second drive thru. Two minutes with no response I dinialy said hello he said he was there I told him I was running late for an appointment and asked if it was going to take long. He said I could drive to the first window without giving me a total. I get to the window and pay and wait to move forward well I hear the next drive thru window people hand my order to the person in front of me and don't catch it's the wrong order till the last drink. Witch they hand back the bag and drinks . And hic them their order I get to the window and she hands me my food and goes to hand me what are supposed to be two iced van latees. Well it's one iced caramel and a hot vanilla ... I told her they were both supposed to be iced vanilla she is like ok and sets them down and disappears off to the right of the window after 3 minutes I see her with a coffee and a mostly empty pump of vanilla. She takes the pump off whom asking another employee to grab another bottle of vanilla she pours the couple drops into the coffee and waits for the it employee. She finally brings the vanilla she opens it and instead of using the pump just pours a small amount into the coffee and puts a lid on and comes to the window and hands it to me. And I say there is supposed to be two.. and she said oh. And starts to go off and make another I tell her I don't have time to wait just give me that caramel one she tried to hand me 5 minutes ago. She said ok, and she walks off. The caramel iced latte is on the counter right beside the window. I see another employee putting fries in a bag I call out to her and have her hand me the incorrect caramel latte and a straw and leave... I had been there about thirty minutes already and am pay for a Dr aptment I try the coffee both are horrible the vanilla has no flavor the caramel you can't suck through the straw because it is an inch of cold Carmel at the bottom. I go for the food witch is not only cold but incorrect . Ordered no pickles it had pickles and no sauce for the cold nuggets. All in all a waste of...

This was my first time stopping at McDonalds for a meal. I always thought McDonalds had unhealthy food. Their food cannot be anymore health or unhealthy as any other restuarant on the planet. I had a Burger meal, a quarter pounder with cheese, that came with a medium fry and a medium drink for $7.89. Of course, I had to repeat it 3 times. She was writing the order up as though I was ordering a single quarter pounder, a medium fry, and a medium drink as seperate items. I had to say "a quarter pounder with cheese that comes with a medium fry and a medium drink for $7.89." Maybe she is new and do not know the menu. She said, "You want the meal?" Well, dummy, what do you think I am ordering, I thought to myself. But was sure not to say it to her face. She was distracted by talking with her daughter who was seated nearby instead of listening to her customer.

That said and done. I have to say that McDonalds really know how to cook the best french fries on the planet. I asked what oil was used and was told it is vegetable oil. Why can other restuarants not fry their potatoes the way McDonalds fry potatoes...crispy, dry, no excess oil, and tasting good?

I bet McDonalds gets that vetetable oil near boiling, dips those potatoes in that very hot oil for about 30 seconds and have golden, crispy, fries in that 30 second dip. 30 seconds is a long time for skinny fries to be in near boiling hot oil. They are almost like potato chips but are potato sticks. The burger was good as well. It was thicker than expected with ketchup, mustard, lettuce, pickle, onion on a sesame seed bun. Attempted to order from this location using the app because I had a deal for 50% off a 10-piece nuggets, but wasn't able to. The app wouldn't allow me to order from this location because it said only serving breakfast despite it being 10pm. Decided to order from the drive-thru. Long line, but went decently swift. Upon getting my food, realized they gave me a Big Mac in lieu of the nuggets, but as I circled around, the line had more than doubled and no one was using line #2, so I thought I was getting a break & pulled behind one car already ordering - wrong! The dude's order was longer than a 20-coupon CVS receipt and totaled almost $50 lol. Finally I told them they gave me the wrong food and was told to pull up, which took a while considering ole dude ordered half the McDonald's menu, and then the others in line. They politely handed me the correct item though and off I went. Service was fine. I tried the new spicy chicken sandwich, which doesn't hold a candle to Popeye's by the way!
