McDonald's — Restaurant in Florida

10/22/2021 My wife and I took our two grandsons to McDonald’s at Ryanwood Square 6:06 PM for dinner. There was only two occupied tables in the place yet every table was dirty. We should have left at this point, but the six year old had his heart set on McDonald’s. After asking for a table to be cleaned I watched them search for cleaning supplies for an extended period of time. Finally someone came out to wipe tables and leave them wet. I ordered a happy meal hamburger, fries, and apple slices for one grandson, he got chicken nuggets. I ordered a happy meal hamburger, fries, and extra fries for the other grandson, he got chicken nuggets and apple slices. I took the nuggets back for burgers. I ordered a quarter pounder deluxe no ketchup meal for my wife, naturally she got ketchup and so much mayonnaise and mustard that it was all over the box. She ate about a third gave up and threw the rest away. Mine was simple a #3 with a Dr. Pepper, and yet I got a Diet Coke. Diet drinks make me gag. Normally if the 6 & 8 year old eat all their dinner they get ice cream. We were unwilling to tempt fate, so we went to Publix and bought all the fixings and headed home. I figured I would give at least a few attempts at this location before making judgement on it. However, I was consistently unimpressed, even being fast food.

First order was mobile order for pickup inside the restaurant. Followed the prompts in the app and sent the request that I arrived and would be picking up inside. When I got there at 1pm, they are woefully understaffed. Couple that with the lack of expedience of the employees overall, and I was standing inside for 15 minutes waiting on the order. It was even in the "in process" display during the wait.

Second order was a mobile order, but drive thru. I, again, clicked that I arrived in the app and selected drive thru and had the order number ready. After waiting a few minutes, and two cars managed to order and continue forward in the adjacent lane, I called out to see if anyone was actually at the speaker on my side. No response. After another few minutes, one of the employees must have hot mic'd because they were chatting about their weekend, oblivious to me still sitting and waiting. The vehicle behind me even backed out and left.

Eventually, I got sick of waiting, cancelled the order in the app and drove to a different drive...

I came in to get my order, and I needed some thing else, but I was met with a rose from one of your managers and she was very rude and kept yelling at her employees there especially what I did not like is when I hear her yell shut up to an employee and the employee looks like he nearly was a teenager so that says a lot if one of your managers there is yelling at a kid not to mention I go home and I ordered a large fry and I’m looking at the box and when I met with is a medium fry so what is a point of giving me a large fry if you’re just gonna fill it up like a medium fry? Some of my curiosity seeing the poor management back there I ask one of the employees and she told me that the managers name was Elizabeth. Elizabeth really has poor communication skills with her employees, and does not know how to help her customers and satisfying way instead of helping me she just rolled her eyes at me and once I got her attention, it was clear that she was very annoyed.
