UPDATE: Was just here in June and the experience was not up to par. We sat at the drive-thru for a couple of minutes, no announcement like, "we'll be right with you", just dead silence. Finally my car companion yelled several times, "hello?", and only then did some girl say in a short rude tone, "give me a minute". HUH? What's up with that! When we did order (two QTR CHEESE MEALS-MEDIUM COKE ON BOTH) the rude girl screams that's nine eighteen ($9.18). I thought that was kind of cheap for two QTR CHEESE MEALS so when we pulled up to the Pay Window we asked and sure enough we were only charged for and were being given two SANDWICHES, NOT MEALS!! When we tried to make that clear, the girl at the Pay window wouldn't stop (via her earpiece) taking other orders long enough to allow us to tell her. Finally when we could tell her she brushed us off and said "tell her" and pointed to the next window (the PICKUP window). At that window we were able to tell the employee what we originally had ordered and what we were given. She was pleasant and kind enough to "make it right" which is how she phrased it. The PICKUP window associate also didn't upcharge us for the difference which I was pleased about since it was THEIR ERROR. The bottom line is that the WINDOW ASSOCIATE(S) (the ones actually taking the orders) need to 1) PROMPTLY ACKNOWLEDGE THE CUSTOMER LETTING THEM KNOW MCDONALD'S STAFF IS AWARE OF THEM, AND 2) SLOW DOWN AND L-I-S-T-E-N TO THE CUSTOMER BETTER. All this could've been avoided if only. Yeah, IF ONLY...
A Prior experience: This was the second time I've visited this particular McDonald's restaurant. Each time the food was outstanding. I know you say, but it's a fast-food joint, and while that's true, the experience says something more. The QPC was juicy, moist and hot, and the fries were so fresh and hot I started devouring them the minute I got them. I've been to some Mickey D's up north that were NOT memorable places except for their terrible food and service. This place excels on both fronts. Well oiled machine during the lunch rush and the food STILL was HOT &...
Read moreI gave this McDonald’s a low score not only because they forget the sauces I request with my order and legitimately give me the incorrect items. It’s bc I’m on an extremely fixed income due to COVID and I always use the awesome coupons on the McDonald’s app... typically I show my coupon at the drive thru window and it works no problem. One time I had to do a pickup order and I’ve never done one. I was in a rush so I didn’t really know what I was doing. I didn’t know when you pay on the app you put the coupon there. I didn’t know how to do that. I thought they use the coupon in store. (I have a condition where my cognitive brain function is cloudier on some days more than others so I wasn’t thinking since I was already confused and in a rush). I went in there to pick up my order and asked if they needed my coupon. The manager essentially told me I couldn’t use it. And provided no alternatives. I bought those items solely because of the coupon. I am very strict with my budget and although it seems very trivial - total I’ve saved a lot because of the McDonald’s app. So I overspent on items I didn’t need 100% and felt like I didn’t matter. It was a bogo Big Mac coupon I use often. I get full easily so I ration the two Big Macs and save money. And It was a treat since I was passing by . I was very disappointed bc times are tough during COVID and I don’t like feeling like just another customer. I work with people and we are taught to be human and understand what our customers go through. I understand it’s a busy location. Being understanding towards others has nothing to do with time though. It’s part of being a...
Read moreI'm not sure which was worse the service or the french fries. The staff seems to be going above and beyond to make the case for full automation. I ordered on the mobile app and as I have often done before, I sent it to the counter instead of the drive thru. Only today the six feet between the two was Insurmountable. It's statistically improbable all four of five employees I explained my error to lacked the critical thinking skills to grab my food and pass it to me in my car. So I just have to assume they were playing a game of "lava" and the floor was unsafe to cross. So I was told to park and come inside. After waiting for 4 or 5 minutes for anyone to confirm the bag with no receipt or name on was indeed mine i got back in my car and as I drove off filled my yap with cold limp french fries. There's another McDonald's 7 or 8 minutes to the north and south of this dump. If at all possible delay gratification. You will thank me. One bright spot was Blanca, who was grooming the soda fountain. Her sweet smile and saintly demeanor kept my...
