Taco Bell — Restaurant in Sarasota

this place is the worst of the worst. from the service to the food, it's all a disaster. if you go here intending to use the drive-thru any time after approximately 6:00pm, expect to wait 30-50 minutes for even a small amount of food. you're not even greeted politely when you pull up to order. the employees there will just grunt to acknowledge you. they are often out of basic ingredients like cheese and sauces. when they tell you they can't make you the burrito you want because they don't have the materials to make it, they don't even pretend to care. once you've ordered, you sit in that line for as long as it takes. i have sat in the line for over 35 minutes more times than I have gone there and experienced normal wait times. you're not even sure why, because when you finally pull up to the window, the employees barely look at you. I get it. it's taco bell. i dont expect a perfect, A-class staff, but if I'm going to deal with a sub-par one, i hope they are at least quick and efficient. it's really beyond all of that. you watch them sit on their phones, chat, eat, drink, and walk around clueless at that window for 10 minutes, then 20, then 30. they screw up even simple modifications like holding the sour cream, 9 times out of ten. every time i come here, i debate whether or not i should return my food to try to get my money back. then i remember that i will have to wait in another 45 minute line to do that. attached are pictures of the last time i ate here - some time in the last two weeks. it's a crunchy taco with added tomatoes. there is hardly anything in the taco and you can't even see any meat at all. we live right around the corner from this place but now we just drive to the one on 301 because we refuse to spend our money here anymore. there is not one redeemable thing about this restaurant. avoid...

Update 2.3.23 no follow up on complaint I submitted through tb app, I called it below in og review. Trash food, trash service. OG review - We ordered through drive thru 930am 1.14.23 seven sausage am crunchwraps and 1 steak toasted breakfast burrito, total was around $35 and not 1 of the crunchwraps came with a sausage pattie. They used small portions for sausage crumbles for all 7 and I am upset because they said nothing about being out of sausage patties when she ordered and the sausage am crunchwrap is supposed to have a whole sausage pattie, making these with sausage crumbles is misleading and not worth the price and doesnt taste the same. Would like to request a refund for the order and tbh, could've save you guys work this morning if you told us you were out of sausage patties because we would not have ordered. See pic below, how is this even close to a substitute for the sausage pattie that is supposed to be in the am crunchwrap? All 7 looked the same!!! I know TB breakfast is only 2 hours a day and a small part of what TB does, but take some pride in what you do and put some honesty out into the world, we could use it right now. Submitted complaint through TB app and I don't expect any follow up or resolution for this experience, look at the reviews for this location, I see no owner follow ups on good or bad reviews and that's usually a pretty good sign of how plugged in leadership is into their business...

Ok, So this was my second time going to this location at an attempt to see if they could improve/redeem themselves. Nope! I even checked my order and mentioned they gave me the wrong type of tacos, however, they didn't even correct the issue.(same as the previous time) Also last time I came here and my order was incorrect, I called and was told that a manager would call me back. No call back to say sorry or please come back and allow us to make up our mistake. Just so im not crazy, I googled what ingredients are in a supreme hard taco (see pic one) and that was not what I ordered, paid for, sent back, and still didn't receive. What I received was 3 ingredients and when asked for it to be corrected I received 8 little tomato chunks, no sour cream or extra cheese. (See photos, and let's be real..... I can't extract sour cream with out a trace) This is the exact same thing that occurred last time. It is almost like they don't carry sour cream. Lol. Highly recommend not going here, due to the fact they always mess up your order, have no intention of making things right, and are always understaffed which allows for longer wait times.
