This was the worst experience I've ever had at ANY McDonald's in my life!
I pulled up to the drive through line at dusk, just as it started to rain. There was one car in front of me. They ordered, paid, pulled up to the pick up window and promptly pulled out and parked in a drive through waiting space. I followed the same procedure.
I'm waiting in the parking space for 10 minutes and the car that was in front of me was tired of waiting so got out of her car in the pouring rain and went inside. 5 minutes later she came out with her food, pouring rain and no umbrella. She left.
I'm watching car after car run through the drive through with their orders, maybe 2 or 3 dozen! I'm still waiting. I dig my umbrella out of the back seat wondering what could possibly take over 20 minutes? All I ordered was 2 Big Macs, 2 fish, 2 cheeseburgers and a large fry. Not that big a deal!
By this time I'm fuming and it's still raining. My umbrella and I leave the car and enter the building and I VERY loudly ask, "Can somebody please tell me why I've been waiting in my parked car for over 20 minutes for my order?" A young woman reached for a French fry box and put a scoop of frys in it and stuck it in a bag that appeared to be sitting in a small grey bin sitting in the French fry holding tray and said, "it's ready". At this point she picks up the bag and heads my way. "How long has my order been sitting there?" I asked. She replied, "They just made it." as she handed me the bag and walked away.
Blood pressure through the roof, I went back to my car, in the rain, now holding a bag of food, an umbrella and trying to unlock my door and get inside, I'm soaked! Now it's been 30 minutes. I start the car and pull out of the lot.
I opened the bag to eat a few frys and the box was only half full and only half cooked! White, greasy, limp as a noodle, inedible, raw frys! And for this I paid nearly $25.00 AND had the pleasure of getting soaked with rain!
Never again will I ever patronize this McDonald's. I'll drive down to the Polo Grounds location or even Forest Hill and Congress, but never to this badly run store.
The topper was that not one single worker in the entire establishment had a single word of apology for the inconvience and total waste of my time. Thirty minutes for an order at a McDonald's drive through that I had to pick up inside in the pouring rain?...
Read moreI called and complained twice on the short Hispanic manager. 2 weeks ago I went thru drive thru I ordered 2 medium french vanilla iced coffee's with heavy cream light ice and extra french vanilla as I do every morning. When I got to the window and got my coffee's and they didn't look as they normally look. I tasted it and it was nasty with no French vanilla taste. I asked the manager for more French vanilla and cream she then told me I had to pay for it (wich I just paid .80 cent for it) I informed her I already paid for it, she repeated herself. I then informed her that I come there everyday and I always order this the same way. I then asked her can the guy make it over for me (he usually makes it everyday) she told me no we are busy. One of the saddest parts is my daughter was afraid to give her coffee back because of how rude the manager was being. I requested a refund and she gave it to me. I called the complaint line and 2 days later the manager Tyrone called me back and was very polite apologetic and shocked. He offered me to come back and he will replace my drink. I informed him I wasn't sure when I will be back she then informed me when I do come back to let the staff know that he authorized my free coffee. Well this morning I stopped by and informed the same rude unprofessional manager that Tyrone authorized me a free coffee. She said Tyrone no longer works here for 2 weeks now. I said ok he still authorized me a coffee and told me to inform the staff. She said that was 2 weeks ago I can't do anything and he's not here.
Not only was I offered a complimentary coffee because of her but then when I go get it I am denied. This is completely ridiculous as I tild Tyrone before McDonald's will NEVER EVER GET ANOTHER DOLLAR FROM ME ESPECIALLY THIS LOCATION!!! I have called and complained twice and NOTHING IS BEING DONE THAT CLEARLY SHOWS ME THAT THEY STAND BEHIND THE UNPROFESSIONALISM OF A MANAGER someone who is supposed to be a leader!!! Never again I will die before I give this company...
Read moreThis McDonald's is like any other McDonald's it's a franchise people forget that. It's ahead of Miss is not working where you going to have it your way not all the time. And if you don't like what you ordered and didn't you just go back and ask him to do it again I'm watching closely to make sure the workers don't do anything wrong to your food. And if you still not satisfied and ask for a manager that's all. And if the ice cream machine is not working and as too bad they're known for that try another one and just hope and pray it works if not there is always a Publix or Walmart and I won Dixie or you can possibly go get ice cream serve it yourself. People forget how to do things from the self or too comfortable and spoiled what people do anything for us or if not computers and machines sometimes we have to go back to old-fashioned ways so don't take it out on the workers don't take it out on McDonald's because your ice cream machine is broken it's not the employees fault it's just is what it is try to have a good day about it if not another McDonald's but from my experience at least the food is fresh and hot and it works for me that's why they have a four stars for me so keep up the good work McDonald's cooking food for us while we're in a hurry and get so caught up in my work life if it wasn't for you guys being there for us you'd still be struggling in the kitchen hope this helps everyone take care and have a blessed day and remember do your best to be positive at whatever the...
