Mikata Buffet — Restaurant in Jensen Beach

Servers steal your money and they don’t do anything about it! They have lost a customer forever! sakura buffet is right down the street run there! I come in atleast once a week! I tip great every time and I have never had issue until I was shorted money from my change I handed her $100 bill she must of thought I wouldn’t of noticed but I definitely did and when I brought it to management they did not make it right did not even confront the waitress like I asked simply watched the ONE camera that worked (the camera where we sat didn’t work) I have never complained before I have never had a issue ever! I honestly thought it was a mistake at first she grabbed the wrong charge which happens but NO it wasn’t! The manager handed her the change she came to the table with less money so it wasn’t a mistake she stole money! I will never be back ever again! The other buffet is 5mins away and has better food anyways that one is just closer I will definitely take the 5min drive to know I won’t be taken advantage of ever again! Crazy! Which I will say I was watching the other customers leave only 3$ but idc that’s not everyone if she would have waited for my tip it was going to be triple that! And more then what she took so her loss! First time I ate lunch I usually go for dinner...

I went with my family on Friday March 17th, 2023, the server was new and we had separate checks, she got confused with the cards and the checks, charge the wrong person the wrong amount, no biggie, but when my dad checked his bank account he was charged three times, one amount was right, the other two charges were wrong, my sister went to the restaurant and tried to fix the issue, the guy at the counter was extremely rude, he yelled at her telling her that she was lying, that we went to the counter and pay ourselves and we put $20 as a tip. Each party tiped the server, but they tried to charge my dad $20 as only tip, his check was only $19 and change, he have a tip but it wasn't $20. The server was the one who took our cards, she brought it to the counter and whoever processed the checks did it wrong. The guy said he will check the cameras and will give us a call, but he needed to speak to his manager first. Advise, please check your checks and be very careful with the tip and save your slip because they will charge you more or they will write over your slip tips that you...

The food is okay. But I do not like how the table waiters rest their dirty hand towels on the baby/child highchairs. My 2 year old had his hands where those nasty filthy germ infested wash rags were laying at I feel like a bad mom that I didn't notice till we were leaving I really hope he doesn't get some type of bacteria infection from that nasty situation!!!!! And the women's bathroom was disgusting from the customers I have never seen a bathroom that disgusting in my life unreal how nasty people can actually be. Somebody needs to do a bathroom check probably every 15/30 minutes to make sure customers can actually use the bathroom because I couldn't even wash my hands or use the toilet it was in horrible condition!!! But I am happy that they have gloves so when I touched the tongs to get my food my hands didn't get germs on them from other peoples hands. Over all I just really don't know if I would ever eat there again or recommend others to because if they're going to store dirt rags on the front bar of the highchairs what else are they doing...
