Ruby Tuesday can always be counted on to deliver sensational taste and quality food. The dinning room is nothing to boast about and the bar is adequate with a tv so you can keep up with your favorite game. Service is generally acceptable, but on my latest visit there certainly wasn't anything over the top and I'd have to struggle to say they're even above average. I showed up around 8:45 PM on a Monday. It wasn't busy at all. I ordered the Salisbury steak served with Mashed Potatoes and it came with the salad bar. I love the salad bar at Ruby Tuesday. The greens are always fresh and displayed in a very pleasing manner. For such a small area they have numerous things to choose from for a custom designed salad. I like that they include beets on the salad bar. They also have great broccoli salad, potato salad, and an apple salad that is delicious and could serve well as a lighter substitute for their deliciously decadent desserts. They had six different prepared salad dressings available, including Honey Mustard, Ranch, Light Ranch, Blue Cheese, and Italian. They also have great gooey, soft and chewy bacon bits, either raisens or cranberries, I couldn't tell for sure, thin salty crackers, and my favorite, dark brown bread croutons with just the perfect texture. I am always delightfully satisfied with the salad bar at Ruby Tuesday's and this time was no exception. But be forewarned if you like a soup with your salad bar you'll need to go elsewhere. The main entree came out very hot and beautifully plated. The plating really accented the food and heightened the anticipation on my pallet. The Salisbury steak was thick and moist and cooked to perfection with the pink just barely noticeable on the inside, but not at all undone or overdone. The gravy, sauteed onion and mushroom provided just the proper blend of taste and texture to compliment the meat and mashed potatoes. I have to say, nobody should be this happy eating the staple of the dinners, but Ruby Tuesday's knocked one out of the ball park with this combination. The atmosphere, clean but hum-drum and uninviting, gets a solid two stars from me and the service, quite competent, timely, but blatantly average gets three. The food however, clearly is the forte of the Ruby Tuesday's franchise. I'm giving it a 5 star rating in and of itself. Value wise, Ruby Tuesday's is more expensive than you might be comfortable with taking the entire family to, but I always seem to have a coupon to use that brings the meal into reach for even the true economy budget. They also respectfully offer those in the armed forces a 10 percent discount. Ruby Tuesday's can be ordered ahead for take out and they even reserve a couple of parking spaces and a separate door and cash register station to expedite pick up. They have a diverse beverage menu and awesome desserts. You should be able to enjoy most of the menu for $15 - $18 on average. A few things cost a bit more and a few cost less. If you're on a budget look for their coupons. Otherwise, dining here shouldn't break your bank. Even if it does, you'll be glad you ate at...
Read moreFirst off I'd give it no stars but I couldn't review without at least one star so that goes to my server Enrique. Well the chicken parm is not worth 20.99. do not and I repeat do not order the chicken parm dinner. The chicken parm is frozen bland hard as a rock and the breading is falling off of it, the pasta is overcooked mushy disgusting what you'd find in your kitchen disposal in your sink, the sauce is bland at best, and the cheese for the parmesan part non-existent. Overpriced everything, even the stuffed mushrooms are expensive for what you get (you get like 5 Baby Bella's that are mushy and soggy at best. They're like 13.00 for an order of them. The Long Island iced tea had like no booze and it was all sour mix. The Ruby relaxer was awful awful it was sour beyond sour we've had them at other Ruby Tuesdays and they were perfect this one was beyond drinkable. My chicken and broccoli cheese pasta was good but you could have had a lot more pasta to it. The salad bar was good but the plates have become miniscule, and the access to the ingredients is like fighting with a big plate of glass is ridiculous. The service was ok the server Enrique was very very new not his fault they didn't give him enough training. But he was super sweet and had good customer service even though he was very young more than I can say for some veteran servers. So overall a complete utter horrendous disaster. Stop being so cheap and make food that tastes good. You charge enough it ought to be out of this world, Ruby Tuesdays owners should be disgusted seriously disgusted with what the represent but they don't care they make money regardless of how horrible their food and restaurant is. Do better you're letting down...
Read moreCame in on Sunday night (10/27) around 8:45, we were 2 of 8 people in the restaurant. Only one waitress & she was friendly. We seated ourselves, the waitress brought out menus & went to grab our drink. While waiting for our drinks, I watched the cook in the back grab some French fries out of a metal bowl that was sitting in the window. He stuffed quite a few in his mouth & walked to the other side of the kitchen. He had gloves on, but seeing them go in his mouth & him touching other areas in the kitchen was a total turn-off. By the time the waitress came back, I told her there would be no need for the drinks as I explained to her what happened. She said she'd get her manager, but it was clear she told the cook & another cook what I said. He came back in view and took the pan of fries out the window & threw them in the trash. She came back to the table twice to tell me the manager was coming when he finished with the call he was on. I'm not sure what kind of business he's doing on a Sunday night that would require me to wait another 10 minutes after they'd thrown the evidence out, but we left. It was very apparent that food safety & customer service are not at the top of his list for this franchise. I'm extremely disappointed, this location is only a few minutes from my home & my family has been eating there...
