I haven't been to this restaurant for a while, but with the recent backlash it's getting, I might as well leave my review. When this restaurant first opened, I was excited because I really liked the quality of the food and simple menu. However, my first order was VERY disappointing. Let me start out by saying that I am not a fan of online orders for several reasons. Especially during a limited 1H lunch break we all get. One is getting the wrong ingredients, or missing items you already paid for (like quac), etc., and then having to complain to the employees, eating up my lunch time to relax and eat. It just adds unnecessary stress and drama. Now I get why online orders are awesome because you can basically skip the line ahead of time, but that comes at a cost of potentially getting your food cold or other factors mentioned above. Now my first order was dine-in, and I placed my order, and im at the cash register, and the employee asked, "Do you want anything else?" And I said,"Yes, I want some chips. Please. " He answered that those were for online orders only. At first I thought that was odd but given that they just opened up, i assumed they made that policy to avoid any conflicts with any customers who placed an online order with chips and they have a limited supply of only to get there and there is none left. Now they have to issue a refund. So I was like, ok, maybe they need to understand high traffic times or manage a better supply chain, etc. Several months later, I go back. The same thing happened. Denied chips. And I was like, dang, they still can't figure out this issue. I go again several months later for a third time, and they STILL denied me chips. At this point, I'm frustrated. I wanted to argue their logic, but this isn't the employees' fault. This falls on management!! Like management, answer me this. Do you think it would be a great customer experience if im driving around doing errands, and I suddenly crave Chipotle to sit in your parking lot, place an order on my phone to "skip the line" go in and pick up JUST so I can get my chips? The message you are displaying is that you literally devalue everyone's time who is in your restaurant wanting to dine in. It also segregates your customers and puts others in a priority list. Is this decision of having the chips an online order only item an incentive to make people do online orders so yall can avoid dine-in? Like make this make sense, please. Sometimes, I ask myself how some folks in management or buisness owners get their when they are so damn dumb... oh, wait. I know why. đ Look, I get it. It's frustrating to order something online, get there, and the item you ordered is all out, and now you have to wait for them to make more. Defeats the purpose. However, that also tells me that your buisness is so well liked that you struggle with keeping items on the shelves because people keep buying them... we call that struggling with success. That's implying if you have enough staff to make such items in a timely manner. What you DONT want is to deny an item to a customer that clearly sees IN THE STORE you have enough of said item to feed the continent of Africa! That's saying, "yea. We don't want your money, we want that other person's money... because, idk. " I vowed never to go back because of this. Might sound silly, but I saw a pattern on how management saw their customers and thought there would be other issues along with it that I just don't want to deal with along with their recent backlash of the small portions and price spikes. With the poor reviews, even after years of its opening, it's only a matter of time this place closes. So next time I'm craving Tex-Mex in the area, I just go to Moe's... its literally accross the street, and they don't...
Read moreI want to start off by saying that I absolutely love eating Chipotle, but the service Iâve received at this location was piss poor. Friday, December 22, 2023 around 4:20pm I stopped by to get my weekly dose of chipotle. There was no line, but yet I was waiting for 5-7 minutes as people behind the counter just walked past me. Finally, a male employee that walked past about three times went to get another male employee from the back to take my order. The male employee came out very anxious and rushing to take my order. Once we reached the chicken section, he scooped a small scoop of chicken in the middle of the bowl. I asked for a little more being as though the sides of the bowl didnât have any chicken. He then explained that he couldnât add any chicken because he was being watched on the cameras and they would have to charge me for double chicken. I pointed out the ratio between the rice and small scoop of chicken he placed in the bowl. I also stated that itâs okay. He angrily started making another bowl with less than a half a scoop of rice. He asked was that fine and I stated no. I told him I wanted the original bowl. I never asked him to remake my bowl at all. He threw bowl number two away angrily. As we preceded down the line, He began to be very sarcastic with his responses. I became very short with him only telling him what I wanted in the bowl. Once we reached the sour cream section, I told him I wanted sour cream and cheese. He then asked if I wanted more sour cream without adding the cheese. Before, I could even give him a response he turned his back to me and threw the original bowl away at this point enraged. He preceded to yell to someone in the back that someone else would have to make my bowl because I was being difficult. I couldnât even make him aware that I was getting sour cream on the side regardless before he stormed off. When the manager IRVAN came out, he was very dismissive when I questioned why the male employee would throw my bowl away and turned his back and walked away. I even let him know that it seemed as if he didnât want to make the bowl in the first place, which I donât understand that being as though itâs his job. He wouldnât provide any information on who i could contact about this incident. I do understand people have bad days, but this service was absolutely horrendous. I do believe there was a language barrier between the male employee and I because he wasnât understanding my wording, but to throw a whole bowl away out of frustration is completely unprofessional. The male employee being rude, & the manager Irvan being dismissive has left me not wanting to spending a dime with the Chipotle in Fort Walton beach , Fl. The only good that came of this interaction is that I wasnât charged for the meal. The management/staff are not customer friendly and are very stingy with their proportions. BE AWARE of this location and the service. They lack professionalism, respect,...
Read moreHello, Iâm writing the only review i may ever write but here I am. I hate seeing people That work hard and whom I care about suffer for things that are UNACCEPTABLE in civilized organizations and should be talked about.PLEASE read the whole thing. I go to this Chipotle Daily and Iâve always had good experience, ever since I moved approximately 2 minutes away from the location Iâve been a regular, sometimes visiting multiple times in one day because the food is always good and the service has always been great, Nicest people on earth (Alex whoâs the chief cashier super nice guy, Fiona who knows already how to make my bowl before I even say a word, the cool tall guy in the back thatâs cutting meat like the saltBAE and so on. Weâre always having a good time talking even for a couple minutes and I consider these people my friends BUT. Thereâs one person who seem to have a very sad life because sheâs doing things that are ugly, gross and absolutely unacceptable. This girl named âKALIA BYRCEâ calls her coworkers ugly names, Is stealing money from her coworkers and is mentally abusing her coworkers. This innocent looking girl that usually works alone in the drive thru section is simply abusing whatever power she thinks she has to take advantage of people that new(er) in that location. She very much⊠Is what We all today call âa Bullyâ. I donât know if anybody is going to do anything because it has to start with the people opening up to their boss but I felt the need to stand up for the people that feed me twice a day. Nevertheless, Dear Kalia if youâre reading this Iâm feeling very sorry for you because whatever happened to you that caused you to turned out like this had to be really really bad. I would love to hear your story about how you became who you are now but please. Respect the people that you work with because believe it or not it, thereâs a lot you can learn from them and thereâs exactly 0 reasons for you to think that youâre better than anyone around you. In fact, considering the things you do and say it seems that youâre at the lowest possible point in your life anyone can get to. Keep doing what youâre doing and youâre going straight to hell. Apologize, humble yourself and find God because if you stay on this path, youâll never be happy and nothing really good will ever happen to you. I would love to mention once more, that everything else in this Chipotle is working great and I LOVE the food, I donât ever wait for the food, and (most) people are a very nice and hard working fellow friends. For everyone out there be safe, have a nice day...
