Our experience with Diamond District began pleasant. Rosemary was incredibly helpful when helping my fiance choose my engagement ring. She taught him all about the different types of diamonds and their quality. She also recommended a ring that my fiance ended up choosing and I absolutely love it! That being said my engagement ring was everything I wanted and more.
However, since receiving my ring we have had some issues. Less than 6 months after my fiance proposed I lost a diamond! Fortunately, Diamond District offers free diamond replacement of .25 carat diamonds or less as well as free cleaning. We happily returned to the diamond district to have it fixed. when we got the ring back a week later it looked just as good as new. Unfortunately, the same stone fell out less than a month or so later. This time we couldn't get it fixed immediately due to our hectic schedules so it wasn't until about 2 months later when we were finally able to get back to the store to get the stone replaced again. After explaining to Rosemary that the same diamond fell out, she assured us that they would build up the metal so that this wouldn't happen again. She told us it would take a week to replace since they were going to do extra work on it. When my fiance called to check if it was ready, they told him it was going to take another couple days to a week for it to be done. The second time we picked up the ring it once again looked as good as new! It has been 3 weeks since they replaced the diamond and built up the metal to ensure the stones were secure and unfortunately, I have once again lost the same diamond. This is the third time in less than 1 year. My fiance spent a lot of money on this ring and it is concerning that this problem didn't seem to be fixed as our engagement pictures are coming up and were taking close ups of the ring. Overall their sales staff is professional and we enjoyed our experience with them, but this was not a concern we expected to have from a...
Read moreMy experience at first was great, so I thought... My husband (fiancé at the time) bought my engagement ring from there. I went back To get it appraised. When I picked my ring Back up there was something different about it, I couldn’t pin point exactly what it was, but I knew it was not the same one. I’ve heard horror stories about People being giving a fake ring or a different ring of lesser value back,, never did I think that would happen to me. My ring still sparkled and it looked pretty, but It just didn’t look right! I started to look at it closer. We held on to the original receipt ( because of the value) and the serial number Was on it and other info that I started going through. To make a long story short, I was giving back a $900 ring,, the wrong ring ,, because my husband spent a lot more then that. I couldn’t believe that a big company like this would ever do such a thing. I don’t know a lot about jewelry, but I knew enough to know what I wanted and knew that what I was giving back was not what we paid for. It still shined and honestly if you didn’t know anything about your ring, you would never be able to tell the difference. I went back to the store and lord behold I was right!!! They apologized and made it right. I have to give them credit for that. But that in my opinion should have never happened from such a big known jewelry store. I don’t know if it was done on purpose or if it was a guanine mistake. They saw a young couple and thought they knew nothing about diamonds and maybe they could get away with it. I honestly don’t know . If you do purchase from them or have them clean or appraised Your jewelry just make sure what your getting back is the same jewelry you dropped off, specially if it’s of high value. Again, the store did make it right. But I just wanted to share my Experience.. It’s no surprise to say I would never feel comfortable to go back there Again which is sad because they were so...
Read moreThe Diamond District was recommended to me by my brother, and out of all the places I was looking for an engagment ring I'm so glad I came here. From the first time I walked in I felt welcomed and comfortable. I worked with Song and Shane and I cannot say enough good things about them. Professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and honest are all words I would use to describe them. On my first visit Song showed me different stones based what I had in mind, not only that but she managed to show me a stone which exceeded my expectations in every way. When Shane sat down with me to take me through the prices he answered every question I had honestly, and made me feel completely at ease. The prices seemed fair and competitive based on other places I had looked, but the atmosphere and staff at the Diamond District are what really sold me. From finding a stone, to matching it with a setting, ordering it and taking delivery, every step was fantastic and hassle free. Shane and Song went above and beyond to make the experience special and I am very grateful to them. I even had a chance to talk with one of the owners, Todd and chat with him about a few things. His passion for his business and providing the best customer experience was the final confirmation that I had made the right choice. A huge thank you to the entire staff, but especially Shane, Song, and Todd for making this an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this jeweler to anyone who is in the market, highly trustworthy and they make you feel...
