Pizza Mania — Restaurant in Florida

Good evening,

This is going to be long. My Father and I usually go here on Saturdays for dinner after church. Since October 2022 this place has gotten HORRIBLE on so many levels. The staff(male and female only 2 of them on tonight) those two are horrible and should definitely seek other employment, the kitchen (apparently can’t read)and to top it all off an owner that doesn’t care (he has no love for the restaurant anymore).

The food is never cooked how you would like it, pasta is either mush, cold or just gross. The chicken franchise will taste like chicken noodle soup or over powering lemon, the dishes will come with so much sauce you don’t even know what is underneath it. The garlic bread comes out with either barely or no garlic or not fully cooked.

Tonight we tried them again and it was a joke. They brought out my fathers dish when salad or bread never came out (this was not the first time) so when the salad came out which was only lettuce and olives (I got 2 olives) The bread came out with mold and cold and hard as a rock. So then when my meal came out there was so much sauce on it which I asked for very light sauce (this was also not the first time) I said I’m done. Got told that it was a new cook and charged $5.00 for lettuce and 2 olives which is ridiculous.

When people go out and spend a good amount of money you expect to get what you ordered. You expect good service and not to feel like you were at a fast food restaurant (which you get better service at Culverts). You have an owner that is very friendly but doesn’t care about how the dining room is going and how it’s being run. We have been here quite a few times and really enjoy the food. Multiple times we have had above average service. Not tonight though. The short blonde waitress was terrible. We asked for a few minutes after we got our drinks, and she took close to 15 minutes to be seen again. Our food came out excellent as usual, but without drinks, it’s hard to eat. We had to ask for every refill, when she could even be found. I even had to stand up to get her attention to get refills. Then she was absent for quite a while as we were ready to go. She FINALLY came back and I had to ask for a box and the check. “Exit Waitress, again “. My wife had gone to the restroom and when she walked by asked a different waitress for the box. My wife got back to the table and we waited for another ten minutes for the check. Surprise! It never came. As I walked up to the counter, I see our waitress standing there with her phone in her hand, texting. That’s when it came out that she Still did not have the check and she just told the cashier what we had. No apology at all. I told the cashier the waitress had been extremely inattentive the entire meal and she did apologize. This experience has definitely given us a bad taste for Pizza Mania and I doubt we will be back. Update: its been 6 years since i last reviewed Pizza Mania. So I figured I'd update. Still really good pizza, really good customer service and a really good deal for the food you get. Love the meat lovers pizza. Everything I've ate has been really good.

This is my go to pizza place when I'm in new Tampa/Wesley Chapel area....everything I've ever ordered has been great...I've been here when they first open in the morning 11 am, mid afternoon and evening....staff is always friendly....clean dining area, clean food prep area and clean restroom....parking is kinda crazy...they have seven spaces on side of building next to door but 3 spaces are 10 minute only for pick up, but plenty of parking further away in main parking lot. Their entry door is on the side. Never really had any problems with this place. Except once when we went with a bigger group (10 people in our party) there was a mix up on our order and it took a while to receive our order but they gave us free garlic knots. Waitresses are always fast and friendly. Always on top...
