Terrible Service! I left completely frustrated and will never do business with this company.
What happened? Well, we were shopping for a non profit organization to provide Christmas gifts to children in Miami. We shopped for 6 hours, and had everything ready to make purchase. We had a budget and wanted to provide for as many children as possible, so I needed to do price checks. We were made to wait in line each time we tried to figure out totals for our purchase. Waiting in line is not the reason we left the store without buying anything. Normally, when someone waits more than 20 mins in line and they need a price check or add additional item you keep your position in line. But, really this is not the issue. It’s a little frustrating, yes, but not a reason to leave a bad review. When I expressed my frustration to the Sir running the order he told me I would have to wait. Again, explained we have waited several times in the line and we only wanted to pay. he said No you can wait. And, I apologize because I said to my wife at this point I want to go give the money to a different store. My wife said No, lets just buy here because we’re almost finished and it’s ok. So we waited. Now for the icing on the cake... Upon trying to complete order my wife apologized to the Sir for us being ready to leave and that we appreciate the the help and he said Don’t talk to me. My wife said please accept the apology and he raised his voice and said I don’t want to talk to you. I told my wife let’s go and at this point he said to me something that in return made us leave the store. I really have never left a review like this one before but I was asked to please explain... so I...
Read moreI've had an incredibly frustrating experience with Toy World, and I feel compelled to share it so others can be aware before doing business with them. I've been a wholesale customer for some time now, but the lack of customer service has reached an unacceptable point.
Firstly, they terminated my wholesale account without any notification. What's worse is that I was still able to log in, creating the illusion that my account was active. I went ahead and placed an order, only to find out later that it was canceled—allegedly at my own request, which is absolutely untrue.
This isn't the first issue I've had with Toy World. The way Calvin manages the business leaves much to be desired and creates a poor experience for loyal customers like myself.
If you're considering doing business with Toy World, I would urge you to reconsider. Their lack of transparency, poor communication, and shoddy customer service make it a business to avoid. There are plenty of other companies out there that value customer relationships and deliver on...
Read moreTerrible place to purchase balloons. Their customer service is not just inadequate, it's downright unprofessional. I entered into a clear agreement, in writing no less, with the owner that assured me free shipping on orders exceeding $300. To my surprise, this promise was only honored for two of my orders before the owner conveniently forgot our agreement. To add insult to injury, the owner seemed to hold a grudge when I tried to stand up for other balloon artists in his community forum. I voiced my opinion that artists shouldn’t be criticized or belittled for pricing their services more competitively. After all, isn’t the essence of business to seek the best quality at the most affordable price? Apparently, this was an unpopular stance. If Calvin's intent is to cultivate a group that encourages overcharging and taking advantage of customers, then I wholeheartedly regret ever engaging with his business and would advise others to think twice before making the...
