Unfortunately, my recent visit to Smoothie King on 107th Avenue was extremely disappointing and I must warn you of my experience so you are aware because after this experience, I will never order direct through their website again... 1. They did not have the ingredients to fulfill my orders 2. They never called me to let me know ahead of time that they were unable to fulfill my order so I drove all the way there for nothing and 3. The worker was unable to cancel my order and refund my money.
Ultimately number 3 is what really made me upset because how is a company going to leave an employee by themselves but not train them to cancel and refund orders if there is an issue? Are you kidding me? That is horrible. I basically lost $30 and I also want to express that I am really hating the option of tipping 'before' the service or products are provided because they probably see that! And then what happens if they don't like the tip, will they do something to the food out of retaliation? It's a huge possibility. I wish people would boycott businesses for doing this so they learn to be better at running a business or how about forget tipping altogether and just pay your employees better!!! Nonetheless, Smoothie King needs to seriously reconsider its policies and staff training in order to provide the level of service that customers expect and deserve....
Read moreThis location had only one employee working. There were 8 customers cramped up inside and 3 more outside. i placed my order online at 1:20 and my app gave me a confirmation that my order would be ready at 1:35. I took a little longer to pick up my order and arrived at 1:53 which is when I got there and there was a big line of people. The person behind me said he had to pick up order which coincidentally I had one as well but I hadn't said anything. When he asked about his order that he ordered a large smoothie he was told that there were no large smoothies at this time because those cups did not have lids. At that point he says that his order was not ready which meant mine wasn't either because everybody else was getting served. I had to leave because I was on a lunch break and I had figured my smoothie would be ready by then I need to see how I get my money back it was almost $10 for something I never got nor was I going to get because I ordered the medium and according to the guy working there he said that only the smalls had lids. Number one why was there only one employee working there and number two this Smoothie King is right in the middle of a shopping center where there is a Publix I heard him say there were no bananas and no strawberries that is...
Read moreI selected something simply because I have to in order to leave a review. This place is a disgrace. The staff is never available, they close over an hour before the time. And open over 2 hours late. I placed an order on the app, when I arrived to the store it was closed. I decided to go to the location after work. When I told the worker what happened she simply said so do you want me to make it now? I’m thinking, What do you think girl? Yes. Obviously. There wasn’t an apology on her end. Everyone knows, it is proper etiquette to apologize on behalf of the person regardless if the actions were not your own. The kids that work in this place clearly don’t like their job, listen. It’s not fun for many of us out here. But you have to make it work, don’t put your misery on others. And if you don’t like your job, GET ANOTHER ONE. A friend of mine used to work here when I was in high school so I know how relaxed the work environment is, but seriously it was...
