Subrageous Subs FIU — Restaurant in Florida

I was a loyal costumer of this establishment, despite the overpriced items and the extra-charge-for-everything ($1.50 for honey mustard!) I even recommended it to many friends on numerous ocassions since I try to support local businesses, but today I was utterly dissapointed by the rudeness and lack of professionalism in the way I was treated today. The woman working tonight blatantly lied to my face, saying that I had always been a trouble costumer and became increasingly aggressive when I confronted her about her attitude. Even though she said she was the owner, I have a hard time believing that anyone in any management position would lie to a costumer. Moreover, an owner should never treat anyone so badly. This is bad business... After reading the other comments, I realized I wasn't the only one this lady mistreated....

I used to come here often, but so it hapoens that the new employees and managers screwed up. This was my daily lunch spot, now I'll have to stick to the good ol' Subway. I simply asked for a tray so that I wouldn't dirty the tables and what seemed to be the very unproffesional manager, talks in my back as I walk away in spanish to another employee. Now I may look gringo, but I sure speak a lot of languages! "Pa que necesita el tray si no lo usan" "what does he need the tray for if he won't even use it?" Really?? Subragous goes that low?? Like I got the tray so that I wouldn't spill food everywhere, not because I am a dirty pig. In top of that FOOD cross CONTAMINATION is very present in this restaurant and the employees are quite rude, not even saying good morning, just a "what do you want"...

Is this place under new management? I remember coming here 2 to 4 times a week as an undergrad student and occasionally afterwards, the subs were very good and the place was always jam packed. I ordered the ham and turkey hot sub, It took or less then 5 minutes to make it because I was the only one there at 11:53 a.m. It was pretty good however, I ordered the combo and it was $15.83. That's pretty expensive for a so called lunch special. Also I found it kind of odd that I was standing by the register, the lady gave me a look and came running over literally to move the tip jar from in front of me lol I don't know I just felt that was kind of rude, maybe it was nothing but maybe it was.
