It was around lunch time and we just finished studying so a group of friends and I were brainstorming ideas on where to go to lunch. One of them recommended Jasmine's because he's eaten there before and wanted us to try the Saki Bombs. We arrived and sat down and he ordered us a round of Saki Bombs, this was my first time drinking a Saki Bomb so that alone made it a fun experience because I got to try something new. Then we all ordered the same entree which was the teriyaki chicken also on the recommendation of a friend. Just to be clear it isn't that there's nothing else on the menu it's just that I'm not to familiar with many Thai food and I was looking to stick to something familiar because I was pretty hungry, the store actually has a diverse menu which includes and FIU roll which will be what I'll try next. Anyways the teriyaki chicken was absolutely amazing, welly cooked and seasoned wasn't dry and the sides were just as good the rice and the vegetables felt fresh and helped make the meal feel light even though I was full. It was so good that those of my friends who didn't ordered ended up picking food off our plate. we cleaned that plate up pretty well. I'f your an FIU student I recommend you check this place out its a fun way to spend your lunch and the chill atmosphere make it a good place to take dates. My only regret is that the Saki Bomb got me so buzzed that I forgot to write the tip into the receipt but next time I go I intend to cover the tip...
Read moreHad really high hopes for this place because of reviews. Absolutely amazing waiters but terrible food. The sushi fell apart. Not a single slice of the roll stayed together. Got a chicken and rice teriyaki meal and a steak and teriyaki meal. Zero spices or flavor on the meal. Like chewing rubber. The veggies were so cold. I even handed one to one of the waiters to show him how cold it was. During the meal I told my wife we are never coming here again. I told them it was cold and nothing was done.
We left out to go boxes for an housed person to eat. Better than trashing it. 0/10. Waste of $66. Will dispute this.
In response to the owner. We both watched the waiter come to someone and get disregarded about the cold meal. The meal was still on the plate. Neither me nor my partner enjoyed our food. The teriyaki chicken was almost uneaten. Left for a homeless by publix. The ribeye wasnât fully eaten either. We just took our check and left. Not the type to make a deal in a restaurant or in public. Also I didnât tip because I asked the waiter if they receive any of the tip and he mouthed no and shook his head. Bc I was fully willing to give them a tip until he shook his head. For this reason, we disputed the charges and submitted this all to the credit card company. Need major...
Read moreMy husband and I first ordered postmates pickup here and today returned for dine in service. The food was PHENOMENAL!!! The waiter/owner Richard is a gem and is very courteous and helpful when ordering. Small, family owned business doing AWESOME sushi! My husband and I ever eat the sushi menu portion, but there is also Thai food that I imagine would be as delicious. Another customer ordered the Chicken Katsu (Fried Chicken) and it looked and smelled heavenly. We will be returning for that among their other delicious menu items. We highly recommend the Tarantula Roll, the "Sweet Revenge" Dessert Roll, and the gyoza. This place has a little bit for everyone of all tastes. You really can't go wrong ordering from here unless you order nothing at all. We went during COVID and I was pleasantly surprised at the measures taken to ensure our safety while having a great dining experience. WONDERFUL place, TERRIFIC cuisine. Will be...
