Taco's Queen — Restaurant in Florida

I wish I could give less than one star. rude customer service, disgusting cold, pre-prepared food, and an overall terrible experience.

I placed my order online through their 3rd party ChowNow system and realized immediately after placing the order that I had intended it to be for the Route 207 location, not this one. I tried calling the restaurant twice but both times they neglected to answer the phone and all I heard was an automated message before the line was disconnected.

I then contacted ChowNow to cancel the order. At this point it had been 5 minutes since placing my order. ChowNow was able to contact the restaurant and now at 7 minutes since my order had been placed said the restaurant had already finished preparing all 3 of my entrees and 3 sides and the order was waiting for pickup. This was definitely surprising as I was told via my order confirmation that my order would not be ready for pickup for another 25 minutes.

I called the restaurant again and was able to get through this time and was told quite rudely that the order would not be refunded because they did indeed finish making it within five minutes of it being placed. When I expressed frustration that this implied the food wasn't even being made specifically for my order, but was likely just premade and also that the order wasn't supposed to be made for another 25 minutes the employee just repeated that he would not issue a refund and I could either come get the food or not, but I wouldn't be getting my money back regardless. After stating this he hung up on me. Horrible customer service, a horrible experience, and a good indication of horrible food quality given that I was about to be served old...

Oh Dios mío la comida era tan deliciosa esta noche en La Taco's Queen. Went and visited my sister and brother-in-law again this afternoon on the north side of town and the wife and I decided to head out to Taco's Queen for dinner and to check out their new digs. Met the owner Eduardo as soon as we went inside and it was so very nice to see him again. The last time we saw him was at their old location on the 207. My wife had the Carnitas Colorado which was (and I'm not joking) the best carnitas I've ever had and I've had a lot. the pork was just perfect and that sauce was absolutely the very, very best.... no kidding (my grandfather was Mexican). I had the Queen's Quesadilla which is made with carnitas and ghost pepper cheese. It's the dish I always get and as always..... 1,000% mmmm mmmm. Lastly... the flan was outstanding. It's a way, way better location than at the 207 because of all the hotels, gas stations, outlet, and other restaurants around. Eduardo said they are really killing it which made me smile. They even have a tall sign that you can see from the interstate. Go there, get the Carnitas Colorado if you love delicious shredded pork in a wonderful...

Taco Queen to go 👀😢! New to Florida new to St Augustine! And of course I would run and try any thing call Queen! Especially named after my favorite thing Tacos! No time tonight to dine in. So I just couldn’t wait. I had to get it to go!! And as you know, I like the full experience to come and sit down, take pictures video. The full vlog experience! But…. I couldn’t wait I had to have fajitas I was craving it I wanted beans and rice guacamole I needed it and I need it tonight.!!! but this is what I got. Not only some of the worst packaged food! And you can see we did not go far!! But my eyes was not happy with the presentation. Just a knife, cuts alone was sad. But I fix my plate anyways! Just to have my tongue roaming all over my mouth, looking for any type of flavor salt anything all I found was mushy vegetables and dry meat! The sour cream has the most flavor of everything!
