I've been a Taco Bell customer for over 25 years. I've been going to this locations drive thru to bring home lunch for over 5 years because I now live 5 minutes from it. On 8//3/22 the wife and I didn't have the kids and decided to get Taco Bell for dinner (we only order the steak or chicken for the meats). I decided to get with the times and downloaded and ordered from the app. The app says to tell them your name at the drive thru and they will "start" to prepare your order. We didn't leave immediately after placing the order. We only counted the items for accuracy before leaving. When we got home we realized it was obvious they started our order MUCH earlier than us arriving at the drive thru. We ordered $30 worth of crunchy tacos and a chalupa (which is also supposed to have a crunch). Everything was so soggy that it had to be eaten with a fork. It was really gross. The submitted my experience in detail on the app the next day and requested to be contacted. Two weeks later and I haven't heard anything yet. I haven't been back here since, and won't go back until the wrong is righted. Fyi to the public, don't order from the app for this location. Everyone knows you need to eat Taco Bell fresh. 8/26 I updated the stars from one to four, although I feel like it should only be three because of what it took to get here. I submitted a very complete survey with commentary via the app, and requested to be contacted. The app actually asked if I wanted to be contacted regarding the issue. Nobody ever contacted me. That's why the issue escalated to leaving the one star Google review. Mistakes happen, it's what's done to make them right that matters. I get it with being short staffed, under paid, yelled at by customers, and so on it can affect service and moods of staff some days. It happens and I am patient even when I have to wait 30+ minutes for fast food knowing things happen. Even equipment breaking etc can just happen…
That said I have had customer service issues with this location not once but 3 times now. The straight up shrugging and eye rolling etc even when asked bare basic questions. Then the staff talking to you like you’re bothering them if you so much as ask for part of your order that was missing /messed up even if you try to do so respectfully and understanding. Like y’all are busy and over worked it’s OKAY to make a mistake I was not upset till I got the attitude and rolled eyes at me AGAIN when I was very nice and patient. You should probably find another job if you can’t handle that one. It is a lot of stress and a lot of work for little pay I understand but taking it out on even your good and patient customers shows it’s a YOU problem. I sound like a Karen right now and I really don’t care after 3 times of just straight up nasty attitudes even when I’m smiling and trying to remain respectful through the disrespect and attitudes being given out at this location by employees. Read moreFood is generally fresh and made right even when placing a special order. It is not a quick drive thru so expect to wait in line for 15 plus mins. Regardless of special order because food is prepared and put together as it is ordered. However, check any promotional codes right there when you get them because when i got home and entered the code for a chance to win an XBox that was being promoted the return text said code had already been used and invalid. After calling the Gen. Mgr she said i think you seem nice over the phone and aren't lying to me i hope you aren't lying to me... Seriously???? This is the Gen. Mgr. No skills hun no skills at all. So as she proceeded to give me a code off another box she had there at the store it worked. I sure hope she tossed that box though so no one else gets an invalid already used code. As the mgr that i called that night said it was not the first time someone had called about the same issue and i should bring it to the GMs attention the following day. The point is this is a promotion. Honor the promotion. My kids have every gaming system there is and i really am not in dire need of a new xbox but hey it would be cool to have one that i could win instead of buying as we all know how much they cost and with controllers and games etc..
