never have I felt so unwelcome in a storeâŠ. It was bizarre. there were two very sweet employees but the manager/shift lead was rude to almost everyone in there ( employees and customers combined). We waited for almost ten minutes to be checked out (we were the only ones in line) during that time the manager made no effort to assist or even acknowledge us. It was like we were an inconvenience in their day. as if they were doing us a favor (by allowing us to buy their clothes) ? Behavior like this does not reflect that of a business that wants any kind of success imo
When we walked to the front to check out our 2 items, all 3 employees were behind the counter. The manager was pricing the same bag the whole time, looking at photos of it on her phone. The first employee was rummaging through totes for a customer that was standing on the side of the counter. She tears through the first three totes and produces what the customer must have been looking for⊠and then the customer additionally asks to see 2 pairs of pants. We have been probably standing at the counter for 4- 5 minutes at this point.
Employee #1 then apologizes and says she will be right with us. Employee #1 rummages through probably 4 more totes when employee #2 offers to help her look (I think employee #2 was maybe not trained on the register as she had been awkwardly standing in the corner ?) the manager immediately snaps at employee #2 that â itâs a one person jobâ. employee #2 to quietly returns to her corner.
In the middle of all this A young boy walks in with a big box of clothing and before he could make it through the door the manager (while not even looking up from her phone) shot off that they were âdone buying todayâ when his grandma (who came in behind him) asked why, the manager (still looking at her phone) stated it was because âwe close at 6.â âŠâŠ âWe stop buying 1 hour before close.â (Mind you, the sign on the door says they close at 8 on Saturdays . if they were closing early, they should have signage stating as much )
employee #1 finally locates 1 of the 2 pairs of pants the customer wanted - at this point we have been standing there for what must be close to 10 minutes( I did not time it as I obviously didnât realize I would need to, so this is an estimate ). We were just about to leave when the customer on the side says tightly â Iâll just try on what I have, you can ring them upâ so employee #1 finally comes to ring us up, apologizing for the delay (which is not her fault, she was busy with a customer - her manager was not)
As she rings us up a dad comes in with a young kid on his shoulders, he looks at the clothes in the front of the store ( in the eyesight of the manager) when his son reaches out to touch a display and the manager immediately snaps at him to please refrain from letting his son mess with the shelves because âthey arenât stableâ he apologizes and the manager replies something along the lines of âits not safeâ. I get that it might not be safe but there was a better way she could have said it.
as we leave the store employee 1&2 wish us a good weekend and unsurprisingly the manager says nothing, face down in her phone.
The 2 employees were just doing what they were told - I do not fail them all but there is no reason the manger couldnât have come to check us out or have employees # 2 search for the items while employee #1 checked us out. Lastly I want to highlight that itâs not really about what the manager said to the other customers, itâs about the way she said it- cold, condescending, and just overall...

Called ahead of time asking if there was any requirements on the clothing they would take they said NO didnât even say it needed to be washed or anything just said to bring it in and they take everything even accessories for women. Great I drove 25 minutes with a bin full of clothes from me and my husband. I get there and they tell me it will take 15 minutes so I start looking around the store they have nice clothes and designer stuff but as I look at the lady thatâs inspecting my clothes sheâs just looking at the tag name on all of them not even looking at the conditions. So when I go to the cashier she tells me that they decided they will pass on everything because itâs just not the store style lol. I had Stanford shirts for men I had fashion nova clothes etc etc some with tag. I left and called to speak to a manager asking why I wasnât told these requirements on the phone when I asked she said that I never asked if they accepted fashion nova clothes or any specific brand name and again said that the clothes just isnât their style which is ironic because they sell gym clothes, booty shorts ripped, tank tops even sports bras and youâre telling me my clothes doesnât go with your style? Pathetic I would never return their prices are ridiculous $20 for worn out shoes disgusting establishment donât you dare tell me my clothes was worn out because I specifically threw out anything I saw with stain or worn out!!...
   Read moreI used to come to this store all the time when the blonde woman with the son (who worked w. her occasionally) worked there. Thatâs when the store was best. Iâm not sure how often people drop off decent items but the past few times Iâve gone into the store the options are mediocre, overpriced, and Iâve walked out empty handed. Today I tried on a few items and they did not fit so I wanted to walk around and browse some more to see if I could find something else. The girl asked me if I was finished w. the dressing room and I told her no I may come back w. a few more items. When I came back a minute later mind you my name was erased off the door and the door was locked. I looked around for the girl and she was at the register on her phone. I put the items back and walked out the store. If you consider this a higher end secondhand store, it would be best not to hire girls who look 12 years old who text on their phones while theyâre supposed to be helping customers. Itâs not goodwill. The vast majority of the clientele in this store come in to sell and spend money. Lately the store just overall stinks which impacts customers bringing in decent sellable items.
