Succulent. That’s the only way I can describe the Porchetta Sandwich (that I’ve never had). I went to @celebrationparknaples_official for the first time in my 20 years in SWFL and what a cool spot. As you walk past 8-10 food trucks in what feels like an upscale campground with picnic tables you approach a huge bar and behind it the water lined with yachts. Paradise. Music 6 days a week, 6-9 PM. Feels so secluded and chill, but just blocks away from @5thavenuesouth. I checked out all of the food trucks, but I landed on @phdfoodini (don’t worry, I’ll try the rest).

First off, his story is amazing (check him out on IG), but his food tastes like it comes from a La Cornue oven in a @3stars_michelin restaurant. I asked Chef David what he is his specialty and enjoys cooking most (see I didn’t say crowd favorite), and he said the Porchetta Sandwich is what he suggested. Smoked pork belly wrapped over juicy slow roasted pork with carmelized onions and ciabatta spread with Dijon. Everything is cooked him, by hand, from scratch. I 100% believe he has the best lobster rolls around by his description of how he makes them (let him tell you) but I’m going to highly recommend the Porchetta too. You legit could have David cater your wedding or party he is incredibly passionate about his craft.

We have been happily eating at The Great Foodini for over a year now - truly enjoying every item we have ordered and recommending his food truck to so many of our friends and family. The first time I ordered the Steak & Frites, I told my fiancé, this is what I want at our wedding. From the moment we decided to go with David from The Great Foodini, he was all-in providing insight, suggestions and help throughout the process. I was so incredibly pleased at how invested he was in catering our very small (18 person) wedding.

We knew we loved his food, but the tasting he put together solidified that we had made the absolute right decision in having him cater our wedding. Our guests (even our 6 year old nephew!) repeatedly mentioned that we had the best food they had ever eaten an a wedding. Having great food at our wedding was a top priority & The Great Foodini nailed it.

David was highly communicative before, during and after the wedding. He was an integral part in ensuring our night went perfectly and we truly could not be more pleased with our experience. I highly recommend going with The Great Foodini to cater...

Went to the food truck park on a Monday. All the food trucks are owner operated they switch which side is open every Monday. I saw the lobster roll truck when I walked up. Unfortunately I'm not a seafood fan so I ordered the porchetta sandwich and the cheese curds. The cheese curds are the best fried cheese curds I've ever had and its not even close they were absolutely unforgettable. The porcetta was so flavourful and the sauce was a perfect complement to the sandwich, not to mention the perfectly toasted ciabatta. I hit 2 of the trucks before I got this combo so I was a bit full. I asked my man david for a Togo box and said to him, this is so good I need this for lunch tomorrow.
