This has been a long overdue review, but the last few visits we have not been impressed and usually the food is very good, but THE SERVICE SUCKS. Some of these servers have no work ethic and are clearly not trained properly. The young hostess (blonde if I'm not mistaken) with the arm tattoos was very rude. Asked her a question upon arrival, not once, but twice because she couldn't answer it, but instead gave us a dirty look. (Not like the question couldn't be answered, she instead just had a dumb look on her face.) She probably couldn't hear because she was wearing headphones and on her phone face timing in the dining room while we were eating (it was late, we were there around 8pm (4/9/19) so there wasn't a lot of people there so she could obviously get away with her negligence. This most recent visit (5/4/19), we had a coupon for a free appetizer and was still charged for the appetizer. She also didn't put in my info for my rewards. So not only was I ripped off, I didn't get my points for that visit. Employees should be trained & told to ask their guests about rewards so we can benefit & earn points for our visits. Again, why come to your restaurant when I can't even use my rewards and am being ripped off when trying to use them?? Will most likely not be back due to the poor service and negligence during these last few visits. We were there previously (4/14/19) and the gentleman who was serving us that night was excellent. He was very respectable and knowledgeable. Wish I got his name so I could give him a proper compliment. Along with the host that night was a young man, very personable!! They were great!! The rest of the staff that I've dealt with suck and should work harder to improve if they expect to make it in the serving/ restaurant industry or if they want to make good money because I know servers don't get paid very good. Service is important and you rely on your tips most of the time. Not to mention, you guys are a dime a dozen. Proper training & work ethic is a must if you plan on being successful and having...
Read moreMy partner and I went to this restaurant this past Saturday. It was very busy and the prime diner hour but we were seated right away. The booth was close to the kitchen server station but we hat was okay considering how busy the place was. Twice a runner tried to give us someone else’s food, it was so busy. It took a little while for our server, a tall young man, to get to us. He apologized for the wait and then asked what we’d like to drink. We both ordered cokes and then the server asked do you know what you want? Which we answered positively. We ordered a sirloin and a filet with loaded baked potatoes and salads with ranch. Salads came right away and unfortunately so did the steaks. We mentioned that when our server checked on us shortly after the steak arrival and he said he could have them redone but we said nevermind. Then we tried to eat the entrees. The meats were so salty they were inedible. For that matter my potato was too salty but not like the meat. Ok, long story shorter we asked hat the meals be redone and packed Togo. It took 45 minutes. I wanted to leave but my partner said we shouldn’t. He paid while we waited some more. We left I told hostess we had the worst experience in my lifetime. She asked if we wanted to speak to a manager. We left. Today we were going to eat the meals for lunch. We’ve been to busy with hurricane stuff but this was a good time for us. We took the Togo’s out of the fridge and opened the up. My filet had two bites taken out of it. You can’t make this up. So enjoy your meal at this place knowing the kind of people...
Read moreWe are generally fans of this chain Steak House, but this visit was a clunker and it came on a special day (son's birthday). There were three of us, and my son ordered a filet and I ordered a sirloin. He ordered his medium rare and I ordered mine medium well. When they came out...they looked identical...as in both were sirloins. My son cut into his and it was did not seem to be a filet...it was not tender and it was at least cooked medium if not medium well. Mine was barely cooked past rare. We called the waitress over and she took mine back to finish cooking. When we asked about son's steak and whether it was actually a filet she got somewhat indignant and said it definitely was a filet. She took it back as well and they both came back out about 15 minutes later. The manager came out to make sure they were ok. My son's cut was clearly a different type of steak from the first one they brought out and when he cut into it you could tell the difference in tenderness. This one was at least medium but my son took it as we were beyond hungry at this point. My steak was now cooked gray....not a single speck of pink remained. I too accepted my steak. My wife's ribeye was good and cooked to medium rare when she asked for rare. I did not finish my steak. As we have had many good experiences we will go back, but would not if we had another similar experience. Beyond the mix-up on my son's steak, the cook clearly had issues with...
