Their product stands on it's own but the customer service is 10/10. We received our first honey baked smoked turkey after I had complete ACL reconstruction a few months ago. Family sent one during my recovery. It was our first time having one and it was absolutely amazing. This year, for the first time in 16 years I decided not to make my own turkey but to order from them instead. I ordered early to skip the lines and picked up my turkey on Nov 15, placing it directly into the freezer. I thawed it 2 days ago and removed the lid today to see that there was none of the special "Honey Baked Crust". I was literally stunned. Immediately believing something was wrong, I called them, afraid there would be no turkey left and knowing I'm too close to Thanksgiving to thaw a frozen turkey. Jennifer, who is likely the manager there informed me that sometimes during thawing that crust seeps down into the turkey to give it it's flavor, but she said, come on down, bring your turkey, we'll replace it. Also, she directed me to call and she'd meet me at the door. While I appreciated this gesture, not having ordered from them during the holidays before, I had NO IDEA there would be 50 people lined up outside waiting for pickup of their turkey/ham! I genuinely did not understand what a grand gesture this was. I called and an employee ran out to me with a brand new turkey. In the future I'll pick up closer to Thanksgiving and not freeze ahead since my husband really only wants this turkey to eat that crunchy crust. But I could not be more thankful (no pun intended) for their willingness to take care of their customers. DO NOT hesitate to spend the extra money on these turkeys or hams... never had anything more flavorful and in a world where customer service is a lost art, this store is cornering the market. They've made a lifelong customer!! Thank you...
Read moreWe have been coming to this place since it opened , and several HoneyBaked Hams around the country , so when something is good which they are always excellent , they need to be informed , but when something is way off key they should also be informed , just letting you know that this ham this year for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and New Year's Eve and New Year's Day LOL , I hope will differ because the Christmas 2017 Ham that we just had a couple of days ago , it had the most fat that I've ever encountered , now if your roasting a pig that's fine , but when you're fine cutting Circle ham for dinner it's not , this comes from a guy who has cut his teeth on HoneyBaked Ham from HoneyBaked Ham stores , I hope you will correct this and make this right or address it , because your product is outstanding , little expensive but with Perfection , I'm sure you will take this as a constructive strike of criticism , as a HoneyBaked lover you have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and may God Bless
People suggested I share this review on Facebook and social media well that's unfair , I own several businesses and don't wish to see unnecessary social medias derogatory comments , especially because this might be an isolated incident but with that being said in respect to management we have friends in this area that also have occured record the same problem , don't want nothing free but contact me 8 one three...
Read moreI have tried for over a week to order a ham online and the website kept kicking me out of the page with an error message. Completely understandable so I have called multiple times to this location to try and place an order over the phone to be paid for on the day of pickup. The First Lady I talked to said the website might be down because it wa s lunch time and to try again later, so I did. STILL didn’t work. I’ve tried 3 other times online, and so I finally got around to calling again, and the lady was so rude over the phone. I tried explaining everything that has happened and that I have tried everything in my power to order online and not over the phone. She still continued to tell me I needed to check the date I selected for pickup, make sure my credit card isn’t expired🙃🙃, and the clear out my whole web browsers and try for the 10th time. And then told me she can’t do anything because she can’t take any credit card info over the phone; so, I had to then proceed to tell her that there is an option on the website that you can place an order and then pay in store when you pick up. (Not sure why she didn’t think of this?) After 5 minutes of explaining things to her she agreed to place the order; I ended up ending the call because no one who is that rude and unwilling to help a customer that is just trying to buy a freaking ham is worth giving...
