I’d like to share with everyone, my recent experience at Tru Nature. As we entered, we were not greeted upon entry. A missed opportunity, my significant other and I placed our orders. I myself selected the Pina Kolada Smoothie. I tried a sip of the drink and unfortunately was not a fan, I found the drink to not have much sweetness at all and overpowered by the banana flavor. I either wanted to select something that better suited my liking or just refund it out. I was told by the very young Blonde Cashier, that they cannot reverse out any charge. I was told that she would have to contact and wait for the “Owner” of the establishment to authorize anything. I asked what they would do, in the event they were to ring through the wrong drink for someone or charge them for 3 drinks when they only ordered 2. The cashier then very rudely told me “I wouldn’t make a mistake because I know how to use a register.” If this wasn’t enough, I explained to the cashier why I did not want my current drink and she told me they have “no sweet drinks” but I can “order a bowl”. I wanted a smoothie since that was the reason for my visit. I was understandably turned off by my entire interaction thus far, and once again asked for them to just credit the card for the drink. They would not do that. The cashier then walked away from me, and began her tasks of cleaning the blenders and then went into the back for about 5-6 minutes. I was still standing at the counter at this point wondering what was happening. So when she comes back against my better judgement I picked another drink. The cashier then tells me “That will be $8 and change”. She actually wanted to charge me to order ANOTHER drink, after not only did I not drink the first one but the cup was still full to the top. I told her she really wasn’t going to charge me for ANOTHER drink was she? And the cashier then angrily tells me....“I can’t give free drinks.” I was so taken back at this point, I just stared at her thinking that no establishment can have THIS poor of customer service and etiquette. So much time has now passed that the other 2 employees come out to see what is happening. Another young co worker comes out and informs her to simply make me another drink to replace the one I did not care for. While this happens, I am told to wait at the end. The blonde cashier then began to snicker and talk about me while I was still within ear shot. This was one of the most impolite, insulting, and ignorant experiences I have ever had. The lack of care displayed by the cashier was palpable as she rolled her eyes several times during the interaction. You are a brand new business that opened in January 1st, I am local and from the area and remember when the sign went up. First impressions are everything, especially in this community. The operations were extremely disorganized and nobody looked like they were equipped to do much of anything or even know how to solve this. I’ll be sure to tell others about my experience. You have lost several customers. As someone who works out of a corporate care office in Winter Garden, I would be appalled and embarrassed if anybody spoke to or handled one of our guests this way. You have lost several customers. For a new business word of mouth is everything. You left a lasting impression, but far from a positive one....
Read moreI don’t know who said to not listen to the bad reviews . Because honestly please read the bad reviews as I’m sure they are all true statements . I’m sure the positive reviews are false , I hate to leave bad reviews but only do it if it’s completely necessary. In this case it’s in regards more than one thing .
First off about two years ago my daughter went for an interview, and as offered a job. After we spoke to her we realized this business is not being managed correctly. They told her that if she worked a certain amount of hours which was under 20 hours, that she would not get a paycheck . That she would have to get paid through Venmo or cash so that the business would not have to worry about paying taxes . After the job being offered by “text message” my daughter kindly declined the job as she did not want to get Venmo or cash. The person who interviewed her responded to a “thumbs up” . That pretty much convinced us this was not going to be a good job nor a well managed atmosphere.
As many can see , this place has nothing but teenage girls . So I’m sure this business is not doing everything legal .
Well after over a year , my daughter still loving their açaí bowls went in as she was craving one. My now adult daughter is 6 months pregnant and had to use the restroom while waiting for her bowl. After asking twice where the restroom was , she was completely ignored. Not just that but daughter waiting for over 10minutes to receive her order.
After getting in the car my daughter explained to me what happened , so I decided to call the store. It’s sad how they are so unprofessional that they don’t even know how to properly pick up the phone. I thought I was calling someone I knew as they picked up the phone by saying “hello yeah” I had to ask to make sure I was calling try nature . After she confirmed I explained to hat my daughter had just experienced. This “manager” as she called herself , was so unprofessional, she chuckled and then tried to apologize for the incident my daughter had just experienced.
Not just was the hiring experience horrible , but to have two years go by and the service to only worsen, def makes us not want to come back nor recommend this place to anyone .

The girls they have working there are young, teenage girls with no experience on how to handle customers. But above that I enjoyed the bowls until today, first it took them forever to make 2 bowls even tho there was no one ahead of me. The girls that were working there were chitchatting, being loud and laughing. I was patient didn’t complain, I got my bowls that were suppose to be to go with no lid or bag. I let the girl know and she gave me 2 lids and walked away. The bowls were so full I couldn’t put the lid on them. I had to empty some of it out, I was on my lunch break so on my way back to work while I’m starting to eat my bowl I see there’s a long black hair in my bowl. It was disgusting! I ended up having to throw it away because I was to far out to go back and get it remade. I spent $8 on a bowl I literally just threw away! Horrible experience! I tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt because I understand the staffing shortage but man, even looking at the responses the from the owner to some of the reviews!
