Piesanos has been a go-to for me since discovering it a few years ago after we moved to the Horizon West/Windermere area. Everyone working there is always friendly and welcoming, and the seating is comfortable and atmosphere "Italian restaurant-like."
I've tried many dishes here, all great, but I keep coming back to the really delicious pizza! I am usually so hungry when I sit down, I forget to take any pics of the food (as I did this time, as I'm long overdue for writing a well-deserved review).
Let me start by saying why I only rate the food 4-stars. The pizza is really good... just not 5-star good as I've had other places (not so much around the Orlando area, but maybe I'm harshly comparing to pizza I've had in NYC and similar locales). I simply reserve 5-stars for "can't be any better." But this absolutely NOT to say that Piesanos isn't incredible, because it is!
Chewy, bubbled-up dough, and very good quality toppings. Personally, I prefer a bit crispier under-crust, maybe with some corn meal to allow the crust to not be so soft (and sometimes soggy), but definitely one of the THE best pizzas I've found in the Orlando area, for sure!
Now, besides the pizzas, the very good tasting soups, and the very tasty entrees... let's talk about the homemade ROLLS!! Light, airy, fluffy, with a perfectly chewy crust - THE BEST!!! (The rolls WOULD garner a full 5-stars on their own!). They do serve the rolls, by default, with a warm Italian dressing poured over the top - I prefer and request them dry, with the dressing on the side, but they are THE BEST rolls I've ever had at ANY establishing worldwide, and that's no exaggeration. I literally have to keep myself from eating too many rolls so I won't fill up before my meal.
Side note - the caesar salad is boring - average quality lettuce - could be a bit crisper and more fresh tasting, and maybe add some shaved asiago cheese, or something other than just ok lettuce and croutons. But it is tasty.
All that being said - I will continue to enjoy the amazing dishes and pizza - and those ROLLS - as long as they keep coming!!
And also just a very warm, inviting, comfortable ambiance to the place as well......

We recently visited Piesanos Pizza and were absolutely blown away by the experience. First off, the outdoor seating ambience is just fantastic—relaxed, cozy, and perfect for enjoying Florida’s beautiful evenings. For those who prefer indoor dining, the interior is spacious, clean, and welcoming, with plenty of room for families or groups.
Our server, Jeremiah, was absolutely amazing. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely upbeat—he made the whole experience even better. You can tell he enjoys what he does, and it really shows in the service.
Now let’s talk food. The complimentary garlic rolls were a delightful surprise—warm, fluffy, and served with an amazingly rich marinara sauce that we couldn’t stop dipping into. The hot chicken wings were another standout—cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and packed with flavor.
The pizza? Just outstanding. The crust was perfectly crisp, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful, with a wide selection of both meat and veggie options that made choosing a challenge (in the best way). The broader menu also impressed us with its variety, and the kids menu had great choices for our little ones.
Although the food took a little longer than we expected, it was absolutely worth the wait. Everything came out hot, fresh, and beautifully plated. You could tell they take pride in what they serve.
This is definitely a local spot we’ll be coming back to whenever the pizza cravings hit. We’re already planning to try more of their menu next time—maybe the pasta or one of their appetizers.
Highly recommend Piesanos to anyone looking for a great meal in a wonderful...
