Twistee Treat Spring Hill 2 — Restaurant in Florida

My partner had an appointment on US 19 this sunny afternoon, so after it was over, we headed over to this location, not the one on Cortez. We'd gone to the drive -through first, but changed our minds and parked in the lot. I went over to the window that was open for orders. There were a few young people waiting in front of there as well as a few customers eating outside. No one came over to the window, so I peeked in. One of the young customers standing there informed me that there was only one person working, so it might take a while. A while was turning to just ridiculous. I walked back to the car, and we headed down the road over to Dairy Queen. This time, we followed through at the drive-up. The service was fast, the server was most pleasant and gave our dog a pup-cup like you do. We probably would have been still waiting a long time even at the Twistee Treat drive-up. We also saw at least two employees inside DQ. Guess the labor shortage hit this Twistee location; at least DQ seemed to cope with it better. Sorry, I really like Twistee ice cream, that was a real disappointment. Seems the variety of many different flavors of soft serve weren't listed on the menu board like...

We decided to go to twisty treat for just ice cream, but when we saw that they served hamburgers we became a little bit more hungry. The hamburgers were very juicy and well done. Everything seem to be fresh. We were pleased with when we walked up to the window we were greeted by a young lady. That was very nice all full of smiles and she acted like she was very happy to be at her job. There's plenty of parking spaces, as well as other shopping areas around. Is very clean has a few decorations and I was very happy about how clean it was how it was wheelchair friendly or handicap friendly kids were there and they absolutely loved it. A little upset with my order. Large strawberry/banana milkshake and a small chocolate/vanilla swirl sugar cone & chocolate sprinkles ... After repeating my order 4-5 times it was still wrong. I ended up paying 12$ for 8$ order... Got a cup instead of cone... No biggie they got me one in a cone over-flowing off the sides sloppy and smelling of mold. I couldn't eat it. I threw it away. Not to mention being charged more for what I ordered, not refunded ,then handed moldy smelling ice cream cone. No thank you!!!
