China One — Restaurant in Florida

I’ll start with I’ve gotten food here several times over the last couple years. The food has been consistent, Not bad, not great, but good enough. My last visit showed absolute Horrible service. Called in order, asked if they had fried scallops, was told they can make it. They said 20 minutes. I get there at the 20 minute mark and paid for the food. I’m told another 20 minutes that they are running behind which was understandable as The restaurant was full of waiting customers. Craziness was seen in the kitchen. Almost an hour of waiting, I’m told they are unable to make fried scallops but they can give me some vegetables and unable to give a discount or refund due to the only person knowing how was unavailable. All in all it took more than an hour to get the food I had already paid for and didn’t get what I specifically went there for. Just horrible. Will not...

Stayed at Timber Pines and decided to try this as a take away option. The lady taking the orders was efficient albeit a little brusque. Ordered sweet and sour pork and Mongolian beef, neither of which were like the photos. The pork came as battered balls like the chicken photo, which was a shame as we didnt want a battered dish. The Mongolian beef looked more like beef, ginger and spring onion, certainly not in a delightful sweet sticky sauce as normal. You just lost a good customer! I've been coming there over 10 years and you want to blame your customer for getting the order wrong. You said you always repeat the order for accuracy and blamed me because you messed it up. Got shrimp fried rice and asked for chicken, my husband can't eat shell fish!! And ordered 2 egg rolls and got none, there was a lady coming in with a bag as were leaving, I'll guess she got part of our order. Right!!
